Land taken for Workers' Dwellings in the City of Wellington

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for workers' dwellings, and shall vest in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the City of Wellington as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the twenty-fourth day of November, one thousand nine hundred and forty-seven.

SCHEDULE

In the Wellington Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked and coloured as above mentioned, and deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 13th day of November, 1947.

Declaring Land taken for a Government Work, and not required for that Purpose, to be Crown Land

PURSUANT to section thirty-five of the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby declare the land described in the Schedule hereto to be Crown land subject to the Land Act, 1924.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land declared to be Crown land : 9 acres 1 rood 23 perches.

Being part Section 1605 (Westland R.D.).

Situated in Block IV, Mahinapua Survey District.

In the Westland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 54062, and deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon edged green.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 18th day of November, 1947.
