Also all that parcel of land situated in Block XII, Thames Survey District, containing by admeasurement six (6) acres three (3) roods thirty-one decimal seven (31·7) perches, more or less, being part of Lot l on Deposited Plan 13947, being part of Oruarangi No. 3 Block, and being the balance of the land described in certificate of title, Vol. 324, folio 153 (Auckland Registry).
Also all that parcel of land situated in Block XII, Thames Survey District, containing by admeasurement eighty-two (82) acres three (3) roods thirteen decimal five (13·5) perches, more or less, being part of the land on Deposited Plan 13945, being parts of Tukituki A, Tukituki B, Tukituki C, and Whanake No. 2 Blocks, and being the balance of the land described in certificate of title, Vol. 324, folio 155 (Auckland Registry), together with a right-of-way created by Transfer 140519 over part of the land described in certificate of title, Vol. 325, folio 87 (Auckland Registry).

Also all that parcel of land situated in Block XII, Thames Survey District, containing by admeasurement six (6) acres three (3) roods thirty-one decimal seven (31·7) perches, more or less, being part of Lot l on Deposited Plan 13947, being part of Oruarangi No. 3 Block, and being the balance of the land described in certificate of title, Vol. 324, folio 153 (Auckland Registry).
Also all that parcel of land situated in Block XII, Thames Survey District, containing by admeasurement eighty-two (82) acres three (3) roods thirteen decimal five (13·5) perches, more or less, being part of the land on Deposited Plan 13945, being parts of Tukituki A, Tukituki B, Tukituki C, and Whanake No. 2 Blocks, and being the balance of the land described in certificate of title, Vol. 324, folio 155 (Auckland Registry), together with a right-of-way created by Transfer 140519 over part of the land described in certificate of title, Vol. 325, folio 87 (Auckland Registry).

Servicemen's Settlement and Land Sales Act, 1943.-Notice of Intention to take Land
THE Minister of Lands, acting in pursuance of section 24 of the Servicemen's Settlement and Land Sales Act, 1943, hereby gives notice of his intention to take the lands described in the Schedule hereto under Part II of the said Act, and specifies the 1st day of March, 1948, as the date on which possession of the land is required, and the 4th day of December, 1947, as the date on or before which objections may be made under section 25 of the said Act.
SCHEDULE
WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT
ALL that area containing one hundred (100) acres three (3) roods and eight one-hundredths (0·08) of a perch, being Section 24 of Selection Block 2, Douglas Block, being the whole of the land comprised in certificate of title, Vol. 36, folio 132 (Wellington Registry).
Also all that area containing fifty-one (51) acres one (1) rood twenty-nine (29) perches, being part Section 25 of Selection Block 2, Douglas Block, and being the whole of the land comprised in certificate of title, Vol. 37, folio 36 (Wellington Registry).

Individual Valve-type Hearing-aid.--Notice of Conditions under which Benefits, under the Provisions of the Social Security Hospital Benefits for the Out-patients Regulations 1947, will be available in respect of Individual Valve-type Hearing-aids
Wellington, 31st October, 1947.
PURSUANT to the provisions of Regulation 5 of the Social Security Hospital Benefits for Out-patients Regulations 1947, I, Mabel Bowden Howard, Minister of Health, give notice that I have approved of the supply of individual valve-type hearing-aids, as from the 1st day of November, 1947, to out-patients of public hospitals subject to the following conditions :-
(1) The patient possesses a hearing loss of at least 35 decibels in the better ear, over the significant frequencies of speech, or such other loss of a lesser degree as in the opinion of the otologist renders the use of an aid necessary ; and
(2) The patient's hearing loss is such that in the opinion of the otologist it is capable of correction or marked improvement by the use of the type of hearing-aid supplied or approved for the purpose of the benefits ; and
(3) The supply of the aid is recommended by an otologist employed or engaged by a Hospital Board ; and
(4) The patient has not previously obtained a benefit in respect of an individual valve-type hearing-aid under the Social Security Benefits for Out-patients Regulations 1947 during the five years preceding the date of application :
Provided that in respect of patients who satisfy all of the above conditions but who do not wish to avail themselves of the hearing-aid issued free of charge by Hospital Boards, there may be paid on behalf of any such patient by a Hospital Board a sum not exceeding fifteen pounds towards the purchase of any hearing-aid approved for the purposes of these benefits.

Model 63 : Air conduction type.
Model 63 : Bone conduction type.
Sonotone (N.Z.), Ltd.—
Model 531 : Air and bone conduction types.
Model 600 : Air and bone conduction types.
Model 700 : Air and bone conduction types.
Maico (N.Z.), Ltd.—
Uniteer Model : Air conduction only.
Precisioneer Model : Air conduction type.
Precisioneer Model : Bone conduction type.
British Hearing Aids (N.Z.), Ltd. (Clarion Hearing Aids, Distributors)—
Avon Model.
Clarion Model.

The Motor-spirits Retail Restriction Notice 1947
PURSUANT to the Supply Control Emergency Regulations 1939* and the Oil Fuel Emergency Regulations 1939†, the Oil Fuel Controller hereby gives notice and directs as follows :-
- This notice may be cited as the Motor-spirits Retail Restriction Notice 1947.
- This notice shall come into force on the 16th day of November, 1947.
- No person shall—
(a) Sell or dispose of any motor-spirits to any other person (whether for valuable consideration or otherwise); or
(b) Deliver or remove any motor-spirits from a storage tank by means of a pump for use by himself or any other person,—
except in accordance with the terms of a permit of sale or disposition granted by the Controller :
Provided that this clause shall not prohibit any sale, disposition, delivery, or removal of motor-spirits in a container of a capacity not exceeding one quart for use otherwise than as fuel in a motor-vehicle. - Every application for a permit of sale or disposition shall be made to the Controller on a form provided by him.
