Notice of General Meeting
PURSUANT to the Companies Act, 1933, notice is hereby given that a general meeting of the Athenree Land Company, Limited (in Liquidation), will be held at the office of Beeche and Boughton, Solicitors, Haszard Street, Waihi, on Thursday, the 6th day of November, 1947, at two o'clock in the afternoon, for the purpose of having an account laid before it showing how the winding-up of the company has been conducted and the property of the company disposed of.

WAITOMO ELECTRIC-POWER BOARD
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Reticulation Loan, 1947, of £30,000
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1926, and all other Acts and powers it enabling, the Waitomo Electric-power Board hereby resolves as follows:—
“ That, for the purpose of providing the principal, interest, and other charges on a loan of £30,000 (thirty thousand pounds), authorized to be raised by the Waitomo Electric-power Board under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of providing for extensions and additions to the existing reticulation system and otherwise providing for the distribution of electrical energy throughout the Waitomo Electric-power District, the Waitomo Electric-power Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of five-eighths of a penny (½d.) in the pound upon the rateable value (on the basis of unimproved value) of all rateable property of the Waitomo Electric-power District; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable yearly on the 4th day of September in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of twenty years or until the loan is fully paid off.”

PORTABLE LIME CRUSHERS, LIMITED
IN VOLUNTARY LIQUIDATION
In the matter of section 222 of the Companies Act, 1933, and in the matter of PORTABLE LIME CRUSHERS, LIMITED (in Liquidation).
NOTICE is hereby given that by an entry dated 6th October, 1947, in the minute-book of the above-named company, the following special resolution was duly passed :—
“ That the company be wound up voluntarily, and that Mr. TURNER SMITH, Public Accountant, of Christchurch, be and is hereby appointed liquidator of the company.”
All persons having claims against the company are requested to render accounts for same with full particulars to the undersigned not later than 24th October, 1947.

NOTICE is hereby given that on the 6th day of October, 1947, the members of the above-named company passed the following special resolution :—
“ Resolved, as a special resolution, that the company, having sold its undertaking, be wound up voluntarily, and that Mr. G. W. J. BELL, of Messrs. Mitson, Bell, and Co., Public Accountants, Dunedin, be appointed liquidator of the company.”

THE NEW ZEALAND GAZETTE
SUBSCRIPTIONS.—The subscription is at the rate of £3 3s. per annum, including postage, PAYABLE IN ADVANCE.
Single copies of the Gazette as follows :—
Ordinary Weekly Gazette : For the first 32 pages, 9d., increasing by 3d. for every subsequent 16 pages or part thereof ; postage, 1d.
Supplementary and Extraordinary Gazettes : For the first 8 pages, 6d. ; over 8 pages and not exceeding 32 pages, 9d., increasing by 3d. for every subsequent 16 pages or part thereof ; postage, 1d.
Advertisements are charged at the rate of 6d. per line for the first insertion, and 3d. per line for the second and any subsequent insertions.
All advertisements should be written on one side of the paper and signatures, &c., should be written in a legible hand.
The number of insertions required must be written across the face of the advertisement.
The New Zealand Gazette is published on Thursday evening of each week, and notices for insertion must be received by the Government Printer before 12 o'clock of the day preceding publication.
STATUTORY REGULATIONS
UNDER the Regulations Act, 1936, statutory regulations of general legislative force are no longer published in the New Zealand Gazette, but are supplied under any one or more of the following arrangements :—
(1) All regulations serially as issued (punched for filing) subscription 30s. per annum in advance.
(2) Annual volume (including index) bound in buckram, 25s. (Volumes for years 1941, and 1942 are out of print.)
(3) Serially as issued and annual bound volume, as in (1) and (2) above, on combined subscription basis, 42s. per annum in advance.
(4) Separate regulations as issued.
The price of each regulation is printed thereon, facilitating the purchase of extra copies.
Orders on the subscription basis should be placed now with the Government Printer, Wellington. Separate copies may be purchased at the Chief Post-offices at Auckland, Christchurch, or Dunedin.
