Notice to Persons affected by Applications for Licences under Part III
of the Industrial Efficiency Act, 1936
Retail Sale and Distribution of Motor-spirit
Picton Garage, Ltd., Picton, has applied for a licence to resell
motor-spirit from one pump to be installed on Fisherman’s Wharf,
Picton.
L. Perry, Pawarenga, has applied for a licence to resell motor-
spirit from one pump to be installed outside store premises at
Pawarenga, Hokianga.
J. W. C. Hadfield, Riwaka, has applied for a licence to resell
motor-spirit from one pump to be installed outside garage premises
at Riwaka and otherwise than through a pump from a depot to be
established on the same premises.
Dalgety and Co., Ltd., Manchester Street, Feilding, has applied
for a licence to resell motor-spirit, otherwise than through a pump
from a depot to be established on premises in Manchester Street,
Feilding.
Applicants and other persons considering themselves to be
materially affected by the decisions of the Bureau of Industry on
these applications should, not later than 30th October, 1947, submit
any written evidence and representations they may desire to tender.
All communications should be addressed to the Secretary, Bureau

Footpaths, Kerbing, and Borough Improvements Loan of £4,000, 1947
PURSUANT to the provisions of section 13 (1) of the Local Bodies’
Loans Act, 1926, I hereby give notice that on the 24th day of Sep-
tember, 1947, a proposal was submitted by the Pahiatua Borough
Council to the ratepayers of the Borough of Pahiatua to raise a
special loan of £4,000 for the purpose of providing the borough’s
share of the cost of the Manawatu Catchment Board’s proposal
for the diversion of flood-waters, constructing footpaths, re-kerbing,
re-channelling, and tar-sealing portion of Main Street footpaths,
constructing concrete culverts, providing sanitary conveniences at
the recreation-ground, and other borough improvements, and that
the number of votes recorded respectively for and against the
proposal were as follows :—

hereby give notice that at a poll of the ratepayers of the Papatoetoe
Water-supply Extension Loan, 1946, £18,500, Special Rating Area
of the County of Manukau, taken on the 25th day of September,
1947, on the proposal of the Manukau County Council to borrow
the sum of £18,500 for the purpose of laying water mains and doing
all other things necessary for the supply of water to the Papatoetoe
Water-supply Extension No. 4 Special Rating Area, in the Papa-
toetoe Riding of the County of Manukau—
