Portion of a Public Reserve set apart for Buildings of the General Government in the Borough of Gore [L.S.] B. C. FREYBERG, Governor-General A PROCLAMATION PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the portion of public reserve described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart for buildings of the General Government; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the twentieth day of October, one thousand nine hundred and forty-seven. SCHEDULE APPROXIMATE area of the piece of public reserve set apart : 2 roods 16 perches. Being Lot 6, D.P. 773, being part of Section 30, Block XVI, Town of Gore. Situated in Block LXXI, Hokonui Survey District (Borough of Gore) (Southland R.D.). (S.O. 5746.) In the Southland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 126169, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured blue. FREYBERG, Governor-General A PROCLAMATION BY virtue and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by section eighteen of the Forests Act, 1921-22, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby set apart the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto as a provisional State forest. SCHEDULE WESTLAND LAND DISTRICT.-WESTLAND CONSERVANCY ALL that area in the Westland Land District, Westland County, containing by admeasurement 41 acres 2 roods 5 perches, more or less, being Reserve 1886, Block V, Turiwhate Survey District. As the same is more particularly delineated on plan No. 126/74, deposited in the Head Office of the State Forest Service at Wellington, and thereon bordered red. Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 11th day of October, 1947. C. F. SCHEDULE NELSON LAND DISTRICT.-NELSON CONSERVANCY ALL that area in the Nelson Land District, Murchison County, containing by admeasurement 99 acres 3 roods 27 perches, more or less, and being Section 8, Block II, Tutaki Survey District. As the same is more particularly delineated on plan No. 114/11, deposited in the Head Office of the State Forest Service at Wellington, and thereon bordered red. (Nelson plan S.O. 6612.) SCHEDULE NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.-AUCKLAND CONSERVANCY ALL that area in the North Auckland Land District, Hokianga County, containing by admeasurement 142 acres 3 roods and 8 perches, more or less, being Section 4, Block I, Hokianga Survey District. As the same is more particularly delineated on plan No. 7/34, deposited in the Head Office of the State Forest Service at Wellington, and thereon bordered red. (North Auckland plan S.O. 34519.) Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 11th day of October, 1947. C. F. SCHEDULE MARLBOROUGH LAND DISTRICT.-NELSON CONSERVANCY ALL that area in the Marlborough Land District, Marlborough County, containing by admeasurement 386 acres 2 roods, more or less, being Sections 1 and 4, Block XIV, Linkwater Survey District. As the same is more particularly delineated on plan No. 104/40, deposited in the Head Office of the State Forest Service at Wellington, and thereon bordered red. Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 11th day of October, 1947. C. F. FREYBERG, Governor-General A PROCLAMATION WHEREAS the Scenery Preservation Board, constituted pursuant to the Scenery Preservation Act, 1908 (hereinafter referred to as the said Act), has recommended that the land described in the Schedule hereto should be permanently reserved for scenic purposes, and it is expedient to give effect to such recommendation : Now, therefore, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the said Act, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto shall be a scenic reserve under the said Act, and subject to the provisions thereof. SCHEDULE MARLBOROUGH LAND DISTRICT ALL that area containing by admeasurement 72 acres 2 roods 23 perches, more or less, being Lot 2 of Section 9, Block III, Waka-maia Survey District. As the same is more particularly shown on the plan marked L. and S. 26/5365, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red. Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 14th day of October, 1947. C. F.
