MENTAL HOSPITALS DEPARTMENT

NOTES.—Increases due to attendants and nurses below the rank of Senior are according to scale and subject to qualifying in their respective grades as set out in the Rules and Regulations for Nurses.
Tradesmen in charge of working parties of three or more employees will be paid an “in charge” allowance at the rate of £15 per annum whilst so engaged.
REFERENCES (except where otherwise stated the amount shown with the reference letter is to be deducted from the amount shown in the salary column): † Subject to passing Senior Nursing Examination within a reasonable period after discharge from the Forces. Until Senior Nursing Examination is passed to be paid salary at the rate of £345 per annum. ‡ Also an allowance of £50 per annum as Acting Assistant Medical Superintendent. § To receive as additional remuneration the difference between salary and £306 per annum to bring salary up to the minimum for a married man. †† Subject to passing the Junior and Senior Nursing Examinations within a reasonable period after discharge from the Forces.
