Unclaimed Lands.—Notice by the Public Trustee under the Public Trust Office Act, 1908 (Part II), and its Amendments

To the owner of the following land, that is to say: All that parcel of land containing 30 perches, more or less, being Allotment 490 of Section 560 of Normanby Extension, Patea District, and being part of the land comprised in certificate of title, Vol. 3, folio 251, of the Register-book at New Plymouth, the registered proprietors whereof are William Murray Thomson and Felix McGuire, both of Hawera, Auctioneers.

WHEREAS, after due inquiry, the owner of the above-described land cannot be found: And whereas the said owner has no known agent in New Zealand:

Now, the Public Trustee hereby calls upon such owner, within six months of the date of the publication of this notice in this Gazette, to establish to the satisfaction of the Public Trustee his title to the said land, and if he fails or neglects so to do the Public Trustee will exercise as regards the said land the powers and authorities granted to him in and by the Public Trust Office Act, 1908 (Part II), and its amendments.

Manufacture of Electric Ranges

Holm Laboratories (N.Z.), Ltd., Selwood Road, Henderson, has applied for a licence to manufacture electric rangettes.

Fish-liver Oil Industry

Seafoods Ltd., P.O. Box 388, Auckland, has applied for a licence to engage in the extraction from fish livers of nutritional or medicinal oils.

Fruit-canning Industry

C. A. Bartley, Lancaster Road, Birkdale, Auckland, has applied for a licence to can fruit and vegetables.

Retail Sale and Distribution of Motor-spirit

A. A. Wyeth, Fairfax, Southland, has applied for a licence to resell motor-spirit from one pump to be installed outside garage premises at Fairfax.

M. F. Dean, Storekeeper, Waipapakauri, has applied for a licence to resell motor-spirit from one pump to be installed outside store premises at Waipapakauri.

F. Tombleson (by S. R. Veitch, Public Accountant, Hawera) has applied for a licence to resell motor-spirit from one pump to be installed on store premises at Ohawe Beach.

E. B. Pike, Queen Street, Dannevirke, has applied for a licence to resell motor-spirit from one pump to be installed on garage premises in Queen Street, Dannevirke.

Applicants and other persons considering themselves to be materially affected by the decisions of the Bureau of Industry on these applications should, not later than 16th October, 1947, submit any written evidence and representations they may desire to tender. All communications to be addressed to the Acting-Secretary, Bureau of Industry, C.P.O. Box 3025, Wellington.
