BLUE MOUNTAIN RABBIT BOARD

NOTICE OF RESOLUTION MAKING A SPECIAL RATE

NOTICE is hereby given that at a special meeting of the Blue Mountain Rabbit Board held on the 19th day of September, 1947, it was resolved as follows : —

That, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1926, the Blue Moun- tain Rabbit Board hereby resolves as follows : —

That, for the purpose of providing the principal, interest, and other charges on a loan of £1,100, authorized to be raised by the Blue Mountain Rabbit Board under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose mentioned in section 33 of the Local Legislation Act, 1946, the Blue Mountain Rabbit Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of seven thirty-seconds of one penny per acre upon all rateable property within the Blue Mountain Rabbit Board District ; and that such special rate shall be an annual recurring rate during the currency of such loan and during the currency of such loan, being payable yearly on the 1st day of June in each and every year until the loan is fully paid off.

DANNEVIRKE BOROUGH COUNCIL

GASWORKS LOAN, 1947

REVOKEING the resolution of Council passed on the 25th day of August, 1947, on giving notice of the following, sub- stituted resolution, passed on the 15th day of September, 1947, to proceed with the raising of the above-mentioned loan, providing for its currency and form of debentures, and placing appro- priating the special rate : —

1. That the Dannevirke Borough Council, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it by the Municipal Corporations Act, 1933, and all other Local Bodies' Loans and Authorities Acts, 1926, enabling it in that behalf, and in the consent made pursuant to the provisions of the Local Government Loans Board Act, 1926, dated the 18th day of June, 1947, and published in the New Zealand Gazette on the 3rd day of July, 1947, at page 816, and all other powers, if any, in that behalf enabling, hereby resolves to proceed with the raising of the Gasworks Loan, 1947, of £25,000.

2. That the term or currency of the said loan be the period of twenty-five years from the 20th day of October, 1947.

3. That the said loan, together with interest thereon at the rate of three pounds two shillings and sixpence (32s. 6d.) per centum per annum on all capital redeemable in the first ten (10) years and three pounds five shillings (35s.) per centum per annum on all capital redeemable in fifteen (15) years, shall be repayable by fifty (50) equal aggregate half-yearly instalments of £732 15s. 9d. each, the first of such instalments being payable on the 20th day of April, 1948, and the last of such instalments being payable on the 20th day of October, 1972.

DRAINAGE AND SEWERAGE LOAN, 1947

Resolution making Special Rate

IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1926, the Dannevirke Borough Council hereby resolves as follows : —

That, for the purpose of providing for the principal, interest, and other charges on a loan of £14,170, authorized to be raised by the Dannevirke Borough Council under the above Act, for the purpose of providing for the more urgent renewal works in respect of defective and collapsed sewers under the said authority of a Requisition served hereby the Board of Health, the said Dannevirke Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of three-fifths of a penny (3d.) in the pound (£) upon all rateable property in the Borough of Dannevirke ; and that such special rate shall be an annual recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of August in each and every year during until the currency of such loan is fully paid off.
