of the Industrial Efficiency Act, 1936

Pharmacy Industry

A. W. S. Stone, 28 Victory Avenue, Karori, has applied for a
licence to operate a new pharmacy near the junction of Fairfield
Avenue and Waiwhetu Road, Lower Hutt.

Retail Sale and Distribution of Motor-spirit

H.B. Emergency Petrol, Ltd. (by W. L. Gray, P.O. Box 174,
Napier), has applied for a licence to resell motor-spirit from four
pumps to be installed on a proposed emergency service station
being erected at the corner of Heretaunga Street and Lovedale Road,
Hastings.

South Island Dairy Association of N.Z., Ltd., Don Street,
Invercargill, has applied for a licence to resell motor-spirit otherwise
than through pumps from the Invercargill depot of the Shell Co.
of N.Z., Ltd.

W. H. G. Hawtin, Whangamata, has applied for a licence to
resell motor-spirit from one pump to be installed on store premises
at Whangamata.

Applicants and other persons considering themselves to be
materially affected by the decisions of the Bureau of Industry on
these applications should, not later than the 2nd October, 1947,
submit any written evidence and representations they may desire
to tender. All communications should be addressed to the Acting-
Secretary, Bureau of Industry, C.P.O. Box 3025, Wellington.
