The charge for the conveyance of one or more corpses in the same wagon and included in one consignment will be as follows:—

- Consignments conveyed portion of the journey by express, mail, or passenger trains and portion by other trains will be charged at these rates for the full journey.
The conveyance of corpses by express, mail, or passenger train will be at the option of the Department.
- When the conveyance of a corpse by any express, mail, or passenger train necessitates the running of an extra engine, the Department reserves the right to require the payment in respect of the running of such engine (additional to the charges provided for in this regulation) at the rate of 4s. 7d. per mile for the actual distance (both ways) run by such engine.
