Notice of Appointment of Standards Council
NOTICE is hereby given that, pursuant to sections 3 and 4 of the Standards Act, 1941, the persons whose names are set out hereunder have been appointed by the Minister of Industries and Commerce as members of the Standards Council to hold office for a term of two years as from the dates appearing opposite their names, and that Messrs. A. R. Galbraith and F. W. Furkett have been appointed respectively as Chairman and Deputy Chairman of the Council for the same term.

Establishment of an Institution under the Child Welfare Act, 1925

BY virtue of the power vested in me by section 7 of the Child Welfare Act, 1925, I, Henry Greathead Rex Mason, Minister of Education, do hereby declare that I have established at Anne Street an institution under the said Act known as the Girls’ Hostel, Wellington.
