Domain Board appointed to have Control of the Waitaki North Domain

At the Government House at Wellington, this 20th day of August, 1947

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section forty-four of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint

Robert Ford Henstridge,
David Ireland,
Adam Nelson Gibson,
Archibald Banks McCulloch, and
William Boyd Duff

to be the Waitaki North Domain Board, having control of the land described in the Schedule hereto; and doth hereby appoint Saturday, the twentieth day of September, one thousand nine hundred and forty-seven, at eight o'clock p.m., as the time when, and the Glenavy Public Hall, as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.

CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT.—WAITAKI NORTH DOMAIN

RESERVE 2915, Block XIV, Waitaki Survey District: Area, 57 acres, more or less.

Also Reserve 4426 (formerly closed road), Block XIV, Waitaki Survey District: Area, 3 roods 24·7 perches, more or less.

Also all that area containing by admeasurement 1 rood 35·5 perches, more or less, and being part Reserve 3723, Block XIV, Waitaki Survey District, and bounded as follows: Towards the north-east by the Main South Road, 588·85 links; and towards the south-west and north-west by Reserve 4426, 428·63 links and 249·65 links respectively. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 6/7/218f, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred by section forty of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby declare that from and after the first day of September, one thousand nine hundred and forty-seven, the public domains described in the Schedules hereto shall be united to form one public domain, to be known as the Fendalton Domain.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by subsection one (b) of section seven of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby revoke the reservation for the purposes of a rifle range over the land described in the Schedule hereto; and doth hereby declare that the said land, being vested in the Crown, is Crown land available for disposal under the Land Act, 1924.
