Additional Land at Stirling taken for the Purposes of the Waitaki-Bluff Railway

A PROCLAMATION
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of the Waitaki-Bluff Railway.
SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land: 1 rood 28·7 perches
Being parts of Sections 6 and 7, Block XII, North Molyneux Survey District.
Situated in Bruce County. (S.O. 9586.)
In the Otago Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 8930, deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and thereon coloured orange.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 14th day of August, 1947.

Amending a Proclamation defining the Middle-line of a Road in Blocks I and II, Otahuhu Survey District—viz., a Deviation of the Auckland-Hamilton Main Highway

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby revoke the Schedule to the Proclamation dated the eighteenth day of December, one thousand nine hundred and forty, and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 128 of the twenty-third day of the same month, at page 3778, defining the middle-line of a road in Blocks I and II, Otahuhu Survey District—viz., a deviation of the Auckland-Hamilton Main Highway—and in lieu thereof do hereby proclaim and declare that the middle-line of the said road shall be that defined and set forth in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE
COMMENCING at a point on the Auckland-Hamilton Main Highway near the south-western corner of Section 86, Lawry Settlement, and proceeding thence in a south-easterly direction generally for a distance of approximately 1 mile 37 chains, and passing in, into, through, or over the following lands, &c., viz.: Sections 87, 88, 89, 90, 91, 92, 96, 97, 98, 99, Lawry Settlement (D.P. 24201); Lot 6,
D.P. 19421, being part of Allotment 17, Section 12, Suburbs of Auckland; part of Allotment 17, Section 12, Suburbs of Auckland (railway land in Deeds Register 17A/596); Lots 22, 23, 24, and 25, D.P. 20143, being parts of Allotment 17, Section 12, Suburbs of Auckland; Lot 1, D.P. 29152, being part of Allotment 17, Section 12, Suburbs of Auckland; parts of Allotment 17, Section 12, Suburbs of Auckland (C.T. 131/14); part of Lot 1, D.P. 18413, being part of Allotment 33, Section 12, Suburbs of Auckland; Lot 1, D.P. 31248, being part of Allotment 32, Section 12, Suburbs of Auckland; Lot 2, D.P. 31305, being parts of Allotments 29 and 32, Section 12, Suburbs of Auckland; part of Lot 3, D.P. 20687, being parts of Allotments 29 and 32, Section 12, Suburbs of Auckland; and terminating at a point on the south-eastern side of the old Commissariat Road; including all adjoining and intervening places, lands, reserves, roads, tracks, lakes, rivers, streams, and watercourses: all in the North Auckland Land District. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 125172, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red and marked A–B.

Stopping Government Road in Block VI, Puniu Survey District

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to section one hundred and forty-nine of the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as stopped the Government road described in the Schedule hereto, such road being no longer required.
SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of road hereby stopped: 12 perches. Adjoining or passing through part Lot 4, D.P. 255, being part Allotment 138, Puniu Parish.
Situated in Block VI, Puniu Survey District (Auckland R.D.). (S.O. 28560.)
In the Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 95445, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 14th day of August, 1947.
