WAIHEMO COUNTY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in it in that
behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1926, the Waihemo
County Council hereby resolves as follows :-
" That, for the purpose of providing for the payment of principal
and interest on a loan of three thousand pounds (£3,000), authorized
to be raised by the Waihemo County Council under the above-
mentioned Act, for the purpose of meeting the cost of building
new county offices and chambers, the Waihemo County Council
hereby makes and levies a special rate of five sixty-fourths of a
penny (5/64d.) in the pound on the rateable value (on the basis
of the capital value) of all rateable property in the whole of the
County of Waihemo ; and that such special rate shall be an annually
recurring rate during the currency of such loan and shall be payable
yearly on the 1st day of September in each and every year during
the currency of such loan, being a period of twenty (20) years or
until the loan is fully paid off."
We hereby certify that the above resolution was passed at a
meeting of the Waihemo County Council held on the 23rd day of
July, 1947.

Act, 1928
NOTICE is hereby given that the Auckland City Council
proposes to execute a certain public work-namely, the
provision of parking-places-and for the purposes of such public
work the pieces of land described in the Schedule hereto are
required to be taken.
All persons affected by the execution of the said public work
or by the taking of such land who have any well-grounded objections
to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said
pieces of land or either of them must state their objections in
writing, and send the same, within forty days from the date of the
first publication of this notice, to the Town Clerk at the Town Hall,
Queen Street, Auckland C. 1.
THE SCHEDULE
FIRST, all those pieces of land containing together 31·1 perches,
more or less, being Lots 4 and 5 on a plan deposited in the Land
Registry Office at Auckland as No. 19160, and Lots 1 and 3 on a
plan deposited as aforesaid as No. 19325, being parts of Allot-
ments 2, 3, 4, and 6 of Section 18 of the City of Auckland, and being
all the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Vol. 436,
folio 235 (Auckland Land Registry), together with the right-of-way
over the land marked "Right-of-way" on the said plan
No. 19160, and shown coloured blue on the plan on the said
certificate of title, appurtenant to the said Lots 4 and 5 on the said

Secondly, all that piece of land containing 8·4 perches, more
