The Servicemen's Settlement and Land Sales Act, 1943.—Notice of Intention to take Land
THE Minister of Lands, acting in pursuance of section 24 of the Servicemen’s Settlement and Land Sales Act, 1943, hereby gives notice of his intention to take the lands described in the Schedule hereto under Part II of the said Act, and specifies the 3rd day of March, 1948, as the date on which possession of the land is required, and the 10th day of September, 1947, as the date on or before which objections may be made under section 25 of the said Act.
SCHEDULE
AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT
ALL that parcel of land situated in Blocks XIV and XV, Maungakawa Survey District, containing by admeasurement twelve hundred and sixty-nine (1,269) acres and eighteen (18) perches, more or less, being part of the land on Deposited Plan 4138, being part of Kiwiti No. 3B Block, and being all of the land described in certificate of title, Vol. 659, folio 99 (Auckland Registry).

The Servicemen's Settlement and Land Sales Act, 1943.—Notice of Intention to take Land
THE Minister of Lands, acting in pursuance of section 24 of the Servicemen’s Settlement and Land Sales Act, 1943, hereby gives notice of his intention to take the lands described in the Schedule hereto under Part II of the said Act, and specifies the 31st day of March, 1948, as the date on which possession of the land is required, and the 10th day of September, 1947, as the date on or before which objections may be made under section 25 of the said Act.
SCHEDULE
CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT
ALL that parcel of land containing three hundred and twenty-eight (328) acres, more or less, being part Lots 1 and 5 on plan deposited in the Land Registry Office at Christchurch as No. 3389, being part of Rural Section 15327, situated in Block X, Corwar Survey District, and being part of the land comprised in certificate of title, Vol. 144, folio 190 (Canterbury Registry), and being more particularly shown edged red on a plan deposited with the Surveyor-General, Wellington, as No. 2966.

The Servicemen’s Settlement and Land Sales Act, 1943.—Notice declaring Land taken for the Settlement of a Discharged Serviceman
WHEREAS an application has been made for the consent of the Land Sales Court to a transaction which relates to the land described in the Schedule hereto and to which Part III of the Servicemen’s Settlement and Land Sales Act, 1943, applies:
And whereas the Land Sales Committee to which the application has been referred is of opinion that the land to which the application relates is farm land suitable for the settlement of a discharged serviceman:
And whereas the said committee, not being satisfied that the Crown had decided not to acquire or arrange for the acquisition of the land did on the 24th day of June, 1947, make an order determining the basic value of the land and no appeal from the said order was made within the time prescribed by the said Act or within any further time allowed by the Court:
And whereas the said land is not the land of any serviceman who is for the time being serving outside New Zealand in any of His Majesty’s Forces or in any British ship:
Now, therefore, the Minister of Lands, acting in pursuance of section 51 of the said Act, doth hereby declare that the said land is taken for the settlement of a discharged serviceman, and hereby specifies the 11th day of September, 1947, as the date on which the said land shall be deemed to be vested in His Majesty the King.
SCHEDULE
AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT
ALL that parcel of land containing by admeasurement one hundred and ninety-four (194) acres one (1) rood thirty-two (32) perches, more or less, being Section 21, Block V, Rotoiti Survey District, and being all the land described in Provisional Register, Vol. 192, folio 334 (Auckland Registry).

Declaring Additional Area to be Part of the Hamilton Federated Bobby Calf Marketing Pool Area
PURSUANT to the Bobby Calf Marketing Regulations 1946, the Minister of Marketing, being satisfied that a sufficient majority of the producers in the area of land defined in the Schedule hereto are desirous that such area should be declared to be part of the Hamilton Federated Bobby Calf Marketing Pool Area, defined by notice given under his hand on the 16th day of May, 1947, and published in the Gazette on the 22nd day of May, 1947, at page 622, doth hereby declare the additional area of land defined in the said Schedule to be part of the Hamilton Federated Bobby Calf Marketing Pool Area accordingly, and doth further declare that this notice shall take effect on the 14th day of August, 1947.
SCHEDULE
HAMILTON FEDERATED BOBBY CALF MARKETING POOL AREA: ADDITIONAL AREA
ALL that area of land lying within the Raglan County, and bounded by a line commencing at the point on the Hamilton Federated Bobby Calf Marketing Pool Area boundary on the sea-coast at the mouth of the Toreparu Creek; thence in, firstly, a southerly and then easterly direction following along the western and southern boundaries of Raglan County to the Tahuanui Trig. located in the eastern portion of Block II, Pirongia Survey District; thence in a straight line across country in a north-easterly direction to the north-western corner of Section 339, Block III, Pirongia Survey District; thence in a north-easterly direction along the southern boundaries of Sections 336, 335, 334, 55, 56, 57, 58, 59, 60, and 61, Block VX, Alexandra Survey District, to the south-west corner of the said Section 61; thence in a northerly direction along the western boundaries of Sections 64, 65, 66, 67, Block XV, Alexandra Survey District, to the western corner of the said Section 67; thence in a north-easterly direction along the northern boundary of the said Section 67 to the eastern boundary of Block XV, Alexandra Survey District; thence in a northerly direction along the eastern boundary of the said Block XV to the point where it intersects the southern boundary of Section 98, Block XV, Alexandra Survey District; thence in an easterly direction along the southern boundaries of Sections 98 and Part 179, Block XVI, Alexandra Survey District, to the western bank of the Waipa River; thence following the western bank of the Waipa River downstream to again meet the boundary of the Hamilton Federated Bobby Calf Marketing Pool Area at the south-eastern corner of Section 206, Block VI, Alexandra Survey District.
