Land taken at Nelson for Railway Purposes

A PROCLAMATION
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand; do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for railway purposes.
SCHEDULE
ALL that parcel of land containing 28 perches, more or less, being part of Section 174, City of Nelson, and being all the land comprised and described in Certificate of Title, Volume 42, folio 123 (Nelson Land Registry).
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 29th day of July, 1947.

Additional Land taken for a Public School in the Borough of Opotiki

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the additional land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for a public school and shall vest in the Education Board of the District of Auckland as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the eleventh day of August, one thousand nine hundred and forty-seven.
SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of additional land taken: 2 roods. Being part Lot 3 (D.P. 14521 Ak.), part Allotment 324 of Section 2, Town of Opotiki.
Situated in the Borough of Opotiki (Gisborne R.D.).

In the Gisborne Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 125705, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon edged orange.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 31st day of July, 1947.

Land taken for Better Utilization in the City of Lower Hutt

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, and section thirty of the Finance Act (No. 2), 1945, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the First and Second Schedules hereto is hereby taken for better utilization; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the eleventh day of August, one thousand nine hundred and forty-seven.
FIRST SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE areas of the pieces of land taken:—

8 0 3·59 Part Section 56, Hutt District.
7 1 0·29 Parts Sections 56 and 188, Hutt District.
Situated in Blocks IX and X, Belmont Survey District (City of Lower Hutt). (S.O. 21482.)
In the Wellington Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 125798, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured orange.
SECOND SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 55 acres 3 roods. Being part of Section 188, Hutt District, and being the whole of the land comprised and described in Certificate of Title, Volume 23, folio 46 (Wellington Land Registry).
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 31st day of July, 1947.
