IN LIQUIDATION

In the matter of the Companies Act, 1933, and in the matter
of KAINGAROA FORESTS, LIMITED (in Liquidation).

NOTICE is hereby given that at an extraordinary meeting of
shareholders of Kaingaroa Forests, Limited, held at the
registered office, Argus House, High Street, Auckland, on the 8th
July, 1947, the following special resolutions were passed:—

"(1) That the company be wound up voluntarily."
"(2) That Mr. T. J. SPRY, Public Accountant, be appointed
liquidator for the purpose of such winding up."

ASHBURTON COUNTY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that
behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1926, the Ashburton
County Council resolves as follows:—

"That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other
charges on a loan of £6,500, authorized to be raised by the Ashburton
County Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose
of the erection of workers' dwellings, the said Council hereby
makes and levies a special rate of one ninety-fifth of a penny in the
pound upon the capital value of all rateable property in the County
of Ashburton; and that such special rate shall be an annually
recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable
yearly on the 1st day of August in each and every year during the
currency of such loan, being a period of thirty years or until the
loan is fully paid off."

I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was passed at a
meeting of the Ashburton County Council held on the 4th day of
July, 1947.

NOTICE OF DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP

NOTICE is hereby given that the partnership heretofore
subsisting between the undersigned, carrying on business at
Henderson as poultry-farmers under the name of the "Scientific
Stud Poultry Farm," has been dissolved by mutual consent. All
debts due to and owing by the late firm will be received and paid
respectively by Mr. A. E. STUDD, who will continue to carry on
the said business upon his own account.

PURSUANT to the powers vested in it by the Christchurch
District Drainage Amendment Act, 1922, the Christchurch
Drainage Board at a meeting held on the 17th day of June, 1947,
hereby resolves that the boundary of the said Special Area herein-
before described and defined shall be further altered so as to include
in the said Special Area all those areas more particularly described in
the Schedules hereto, and further resolves that the said areas shall
form part of and be included in the Subdivision B of the said
Special Area, and that the boundaries of the said Subdivision B
shall be altered accordingly so as to include all those areas more
particularly described in the Schedules hereto.

FIRST SCHEDULE

ALL that area of land in the Canterbury Land District, bounded
by a line commencing at a point on the Special Area boundary,
such point being the south-eastern corner of Lot 1 on Deposited
Plan No. 8924; thence easterly along the northern boundary of
the land contained in certificate of title, Vol. 139, folio 268, to and
across Horseshoe Lake Road to the eastern side thereof; thence
northerly and north-easterly along the eastern and south-eastern
sides of Horseshoe Lake Road to the northern corner of Lot 9 on
Deposited Plan No. 764; thence south-easterly, south-westerly,
north-westerly, and south-westerly along the north-eastern, south-
eastern, south-western, and south-eastern boundaries of the said
Lot 9 to the north-eastern corner of Lot 4 on Deposited Plan
No. 764; thence south-westerly and westerly along the eastern
and southern boundary of the said Lot 4 to the eastern boundary
of Lot 3 on Deposited Plan No. 764; thence south-westerly along the
eastern boundary of the said Lot 3, to and across New Brighton
Road and Cresswell Avenue to a point on the Special Area
boundary, such point being the north-western corner of the land
contained in certificate of title, Vol. 27, folio 59; thence westerly
generally and northerly generally along the Special Area boundary
to the point of commencement.

SECOND SCHEDULE

ALL that area of land in the Canterbury Land District, bounded
by a line commencing at a point on the Special Area boundary
on the north-western side of Westminster Street, such point being
the south-eastern corner of Lot 1 on Deposited Plan No. 8506;
thence south-easterly across Westminster Street to the north-
eastern boundary of Lot 33 on Deposited Plan No. 8664; thence
along the said north-eastern boundary to the south-eastern
boundary thereof; thence south-westerly along the south-eastern
boundaries of Lots 33, 32, 31, 30, and 29 to the Special Area
boundary; thence north-westerly and north-easterly along the
Special Area boundary to the point of commencement.

THIRD SCHEDULE

ALL that area of land in the Canterbury Land District, bounded
by a line commencing at a point on the Special Area boundary
on the northern side of Centaurus Road and being 600 links east
from the intersection of Centaurus Road and the eastern side of
St. Martin's Road; thence in a southerly direction across Centaurus
Road and at right angles thereto for a distance of 375 links from the
southern side of that road; thence easterly and northerly at right
angles 100 links and 375 links respectively to and across Centaurus
Road to the Special Area boundary; thence westerly along that
boundary to the point of commencement.
