Retail Sale and Distribution of Motor-spirit
W. M. Cunningham, Main Street, Waverley, has applied for a licence to resell motor-spirit from two pumps to be installed outside garage premises known as “Waverley Motors” in Main Street, Waverley.
P. E. C. Prime, corner of Grey and Elizabeth Streets, Tauranga, has applied for a licence to resell motor-spirit from one pump to be installed on garage premises at the corner of Grey and Elizabeth Streets, Tauranga.
Manly Stores, Ltd., Box 16, Silverdale, has applied for a licence to resell motor-spirit from one pump to be installed on the kerbside fronting store premises at Manly.

Applicants and other persons considering themselves to be materially affected by the decisions of the Bureau of Industry on these applications should, not later than the 24th July, 1947, submit any written evidence and representations they may desire to tender. CROWN LANDS NOTICE
Land in Taranaki Land District for Selection on Renewable Lease
District Lands and Survey Office,
New Plymouth, 8th July, 1947.
NOTICE is hereby given that the undermentioned section is open for selection on renewable lease under the Land Act, 1924; and applications will be received at the District Lands and Survey Office, New Plymouth, up to 4 o'clock p.m. on Monday, 25th August, 1947.
Applicants should appear personally for examination at the District Lands and Survey Office, New Plymouth, on Wednesday, 27th August, 1947, at 10.30 o'clock a.m., but if any applicant is unable to attend he may be examined by any other Land Board or by any Commissioner of Crown Lands.
The ballot will be held immediately upon conclusion of the examination of applicants, and the successful applicant is required to pay immediately at conclusion of ballot a deposit comprising the first half-year's rent, broken-period rent, lease fee, and weighting for improvements.

TARANAKI LAND DISTRICT.—SUBURBAN LAND
Taranaki County.—Paritutu Survey District
SECTION 168, Block VI : Area, 6 acres 3 roods 32 perches. Capital value £245; Half-yearly rent, £6 2s. 6d.
Weighted with £61 (payable in cash) for improvements, comprising fencing, clearing, stumping, and grassing.
This property is situated on the Egmont Road, just outside the Borough of New Plymouth, and adjoining the Smart Road Railway-station. The land is level to easy rolling country all ploughable, with a sunny aspect but exposed to prevailing winds. No natural water-supply is available, but the town supply passes along the Main North Road. Pastures require renewing; a little gorse is growing along the road frontage, but is not troublesome.
Any ex-servicemen who intends to apply for rehabilitation assistance is advised to contact the District Rehabilitation Officer before lodging his application to ascertain what assistance will be available to him in the event of his application being successful.
Advice from the Rehabilitation Officer as to the assistance available should be attached to the application.
Any further information required may be obtained from the undersigned.
