PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for road; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the thirtieth day of June, one thousand nine hundred and forty-seven.

Land and Easements over Land taken for Defence Purposes in Block II, Turanganui Survey District

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the First Schedule hereto is hereby taken for defence purposes; and also do hereby declare that an easement is hereby taken for defence purposes over the land described in the Second Schedule hereto vesting in His Majesty the King full and free liberty, right, license, and authority in perpetuity to construct and use a right-of-way, with the right for His Majesty's servants, agents, and workmen from time to time and at all times hereafter to go, pass, and repass with or without horses or other animals or vehicles over the land described in the Second Schedule hereto, and to maintain, repair, and keep open the said right-of-way for the purpose of providing access to the land described in the First Schedule hereto ; and also do hereby declare that an easement is taken for defence purposes over the land described in the Third Schedule hereto vesting in His Majesty the King full and free liberty, right, license, and authority in perpetuity to lay, construct, place, and maintain a line of cables under, along, and over the land described in the said Third Schedule; and also do hereby declare that the aforesaid easements shall be held appurtenant to the land described in the First Schedule hereto.
