Authorizing the Laying-off of Hamilton Place, in the Borough of Pukekohe, of a Width less than 66 ft., but not less than 40 ft., subject to a Condition as to the Building-line

At the Government House at Wellington, this 18th day of June, 1947

PRESENT :

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL, IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-Municipal Corporations Act, 1935, His Excellency the Governor-General, with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, authorizes the Pukekohe Borough Council to permit the laying-off of Hamilton Place, in the Borough of Pukekohe, of a width less than 66 ft., but not less than 40 ft., subject to a condition that no building or part of a building shall at any time be erected on Lots 1, 2, and 6 or a subdivision of the land forming the said street (as shown on the plan referred to in the Schedule hereto) within a distance of thirty-three feet from the centre-line of the said street.

SCHEDULE

That proposed street in the North Auckland Land District, Borough of Pukekohe, containing by admeasurement 1 urban 64-section perch, more or less, being portion of Allotment 117 of Suburban Section 1 of the Parish of Pukekohe. P.W.D. 123380, is more particularly delineated on the plan marked A.S.D. 123380, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL, IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-Municipal Corporations Act, 1935, His Excellency the Governor-General, with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, orders that the portions of the road described in the Schedule hereto, become county road.


SCHEDULE

ALL that portion of road in the Auckland Land District, Waipa County, known as Wharepapa Farm Settlement Road, commencing at its junction with a public road, being the northern boundary of portion of Lot 1 on D.P. 20102, forming portion of Wharepunga No. 14A Block, and proceeding thence generally in a south-easterly direction through the aforesaid portion of Lot 1 on D.P. 20102, part of Section 4, Block II, Wharepapa Survey District, and terminating at a point on the south-eastern boundary of the aforesaid Section 7, approximately 75 chains from the southernmost corner of the said section, being a distance of 252 chains, more or less, marked A-B-D on the plan hereto referred to. Also all that portion of the said Wharepapa Farm Settlement Road, commencing at the point marked B on the said plan, and proceeding thence generally in a westerly direction through the aforesaid portion of Lot 1 on D.P. 20102 for a distance of 22 chains, more or less, and Lot 1 on B.P. 20102 for a distance of 28 chains, more or less, referred to as the north-eastern side of Portion of Murray Street and the South-eastern side of Portion of Tuamaha Street, in the Borough of Greymouth, exempted from the provisions of Section 128 of the Public Works Act, 1928

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 11th day of June, 1947

PRESENT :

THE RIGHT HON. P. FRASER PRESIDING IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to section one hundred and twenty-eight of the Public Works Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, orders that the following resolution passed by the Greymouth Borough Council on the twentieth day of March, one thousand nine hundred and forty-seven, be and is hereby approved:

"The Greymouth Borough Council, being the Local Authority having control of the streets in the Borough of Greymouth, by resolution declares that the provisions of section one hundred and twenty-eight of the Public Works Act, 1928, shall not apply to that portion of Murray Street fronting Section 191A and the south-eastern side of Tuamaha Street, Section 191B, and Lots 1, 2, and 3, Section 191C."
