Land taken for Housing Purposes in the Borough of Gisborne

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for housing purposes; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the twenty-seventh day of January, one thousand nine hundred and forty-seven.
SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 19 acres 1 rood 14·7 perches.
Being Lots 14 and 15 and parts Lots 23 and 24, D.P. 138, being parts Sections 196, 197, 198, 199, 203, and 204, Gisborne Suburban, and being the whole of the land comprised and described in Certificate of Title, Volume 82, folio 140 (Gisborne Land Registry).
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 20th day of January, 1947.

Land taken for a Fire-brigade Station in the City of Lower Hutt

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for a fire-brigade station and shall vest in the Lower Hutt Fire Board as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the twenty-seventh day of January, one thousand nine hundred and forty-seven.

In the Wellington Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 123801, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for public buildings of the General Government; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the twenty-seventh day of January, one thousand nine hundred and forty-seven.
SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 33·94 perches.
Being part Lot 1, D.P. 3758, and part Town Section 133.
Situated in the Borough of Napier (Hawke’s Bay R.D.).
In the Hawke’s Bay Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 124431, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon edged blue.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 20th day of January, 1947.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart for public buildings of the General Government; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the twenty-seventh day of January, one thousand nine hundred and forty-seven.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of Crown land set apart: 29·22 perches.
Being Lot 2, D.P. 7366, being part Section 35, Town of Wanganui.
