ORDER IN COUNCIL
At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 14th day of
May, 1947
Present:
THE RIGHT HON. P. FRASER PRESIDING IN COUNCIL
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred
upon him by subsection one (b) of section seven of the Public
Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency
the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting
by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the
said Dominion, doth hereby revoke the reservation for gravel
purposes over the land described in the Schedule hereto ; and doth
hereby declare that the said land, being vested in the Crown, is
Crown land available for disposal under the Land Act, 1924.

PURSUANT to section two hundred and sixty-eight of the
Native Land Act, 1931, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard
Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New
Zealand, do hereby notify and declare that the persons whose
names are set out in the Schedule hereto, being officers in the
service of the Crown, are authorized to attest, in accordance with
the provisions of the said section two hundred and sixty-eight,
the signatures of Natives to instruments of alienation of Native
land.

PURSUANT to section five hundred and forty-seven of the
Native Land Act, 1931, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard
Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New
Zealand, do hereby notify and declare that the persons whose
names are set out in the Schedule hereto, being officers in the
service of the Crown, are authorized to attest, in accordance with
the provisions of the said section five hundred and forty-seven, the
signatures of Natives to instruments by way of security within the
meaning of the Chattels Transfer Act, 1924.

PURSUANT to the Cemeteries Act, 1908, I, Lieutenant-General
Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the
Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby revoke the Warrant of the
twenty-sixth day of August, one thousand eight hundred and
eighty-five, published in the Gazette on the third day of September
of the same year, at page 1019, whereby the Clinton Town Board
was appointed to be the trustees of the Clinton Cemetery.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General,
this 14th day of May, 1947.
