Land taken at Granity for Railway Purposes

A PROCLAMATION
In pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in me in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for railway purposes.
SCHEDULE
Approximate area of piece of land: 7-4 acres.
Being part Section 2, Block VI, Ngakau Survey District.
Situated in Buller County. (S.O. 9488.)
In the Nelson Land District: L.S. 8753, deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and thereon coloured orange.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 26th day of April, 1947.

Land taken for Housing Purposes in the City of Auckland

A PROCLAMATION
Pursuant to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for housing purposes; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the fifth day of May, one thousand nine hundred and forty-seven.
SCHEDULE
Approximate area of the piece of land taken: 5 acres.
Being Lot 5, D.P. 8264, being part Allotment 10, District of Tamaki, City of Auckland, and being the whole of the land comprised in certificate of title, Volume 746, folio 166 (Auckland Land Registry).
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 25th day of April, 1947.

Additional Land taken for a Police-station in Block X, Motu Survey District

A PROCLAMATION
Pursuant to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for a police-station; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the fifth day of May, one thousand nine hundred and forty-seven.
SCHEDULE
Approximate area of the piece of additional land taken: 36-04 acres.
Being Lot 5, Block I, D.P. 1879 (Township of Matawai), being part Section 1, Block X, Motu Survey District, and being the whole of the land comprised and described in Certificate of Title, Volume 54, folio 147 (Gisborne Land Registry).
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 25th day of April, 1947.

Approximate area of the piece of land taken: 32 perches.
Being Lot 6, D.P. 22818, being part Allotment 1, Whangarei Parish (Borough of Whangarei), situated in Block IX, Whangarei Survey District (Auckland R.D.) (S.O. 34226.)
In the North Auckland Land District: P.W.D. 124576, deposited particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 124576, and thereon coloured yellow.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 26th day of April, 1947.
