ORDER IN COUNCIL
At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 16th day of April, 1947
Present:
THE RIGHT HON. P. FRASER PRESIDING IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to section three of the Local Government Commission Act, 1946, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, and on the recommendation of the Minister of Internal Affairs, doth hereby appoint
Israel Joseph Goldstine, Esquire, O.B.E., of Auckland,
to be a member and to be the Chairman of the Local Government Commission; and, with the like advice and consent and on the like recommendation, doth hereby appoint
William Charles Edgar George, Esquire, of Rotorua,
to be the member of the said Commission appointed as a person having special knowledge of local government; and
John William Andrews, Esquire, of Lower Hutt,
to be the member of the said Commission appointed as a person having special knowledge of urban local government; and
George Alexander Monk, Esquire, of Levin,
to be the member of the said Commission appointed as a person having special knowledge of rural local government; and doth declare that each of the three last-mentioned persons shall hold office for a term of three years commencing on the date of this Order in Council.

ORDER IN COUNCIL
At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 23rd day of April, 1947
Present:
THE RIGHT HON. P. FRASER PRESIDING IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to section one hundred and twenty-eight of the Public Works Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby approve of the following resolution passed by the Dargaville Borough Council on the seventeenth day of February, one thousand nine hundred and forty-seven, viz.:--
"The Dargaville Borough Council, being the local authority having control of the streets in the Borough of Dargaville, by resolution declares that the provisions of section one hundred and twenty-eight of the Public Works Act, 1928, shall not apply to Totara Street adjoining Lots 1, 2, and 3, D.P. 33689, being the whole of the land comprised in Certificate of Title, Volume 856, folio 94, Lot 2, D.P. 11929, being the whole of the land comprised in Certificate of Title, Volume 427, folio 138, Crown land, and portions of Railway land in Proclamation 11640";
such street being described in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE
All that street in the North Auckland Land District, Borough of Dargaville, known as Totara Street, fronting Lots 1, 2, and 3, D.P. 33689, Lot 2, D.P. 11929, and portions of Railway land in Proclamation No. 11640. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 125310, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

ORDER IN COUNCIL
At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 16th day of April, 1947
Present:
THE RIGHT HON. P. FRASER PRESIDING IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to the Harbours Act, 1923, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, doth hereby vest in James Blair, Laurence Murray Fraser, Oliff Edward Johnston (as trustees for the fishermen of the district) (hereinafter called "the trustees," which term shall include their successors or assigns, unless the context requires a different construction), the management of the slipway at Karitane, Waikouaiti River, as shown on plan marked M.D. 8545 and deposited in the office of the Marine Department at Wellington,
said plan, such vesting to be held and enjoyed by the trustees upon and subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the First Schedule hereto, and doth hereby prescribe that the dues and rates set forth in the Second Schedule hereto shall be charged and taken by the trustees for the use of the said slipway.
FIRST SCHEDULE
CONDITIONS

  1. This license is subject to the Foreshore License Regulations 1940, and the provisions of those regulations shall, so far as applicable, apply hereto.
  2. The term of the license shall be fourteen years from the 1st day of April, 1947.
    SECOND SCHEDULE
    DUES AND RATES
    The users of the said slipway shall pay to the trustees for each vessel the undermentioned scale of dues:—
    s. d.
    (1) On application for use of the slipway .. .. 12 6
    (2) For first twenty-four hours or part thereof .. 2 6
    (3) For every subsequent twenty-four hours or part thereof .. .. .. .. .. .. .. 2 6

    ORDER IN COUNCIL
    At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 16th day of April, 1947
    Present:
    THE RIGHT HON. P. FRASER PRESIDING IN COUNCIL
    PURSUANT to the Harbours Act, 1923, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, doth hereby license and permit Eric George Alexander Gray, of Horeke (hereinafter called "the licensee," which term shall include his executors, administrators, or assigns, unless the context requires a different construction), to use and occupy a part of the foreshore and land below low-water mark at Horeke in Hokianga Harbour, as shown as site No. 4 on plan marked M.D. 8546 and deposited in the office of the Marine Department at Wellington, for the purpose of erecting and maintaining thereon a boat-shed as shown on the said plan, such license to be held and enjoyed by the licensee upon and subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the Schedule hereto.
    SCHEDULE
  3. This license is subject to the Foreshore License Regulations 1940, and the provisions of those regulations shall, so far as applicable, apply hereto.
  4. The term of the license shall be fourteen years from the 1st day of April, 1947.
  5. The premium sum payable by the licensee shall be two pounds ten shillings (£2 10s.), and the annual sum so payable shall be five pounds (£5).

    ORDER IN COUNCIL
    At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 16th day of April, 1947
    Present:
    THE RIGHT HON. P. FRASER PRESIDING IN COUNCIL
    WHEREAS by Order in Council dated the twentieth day of October, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-seven, and published in the Gazette of the twenty-eighth day of the same month, at page 2406, the trustees of the Estate of John Anton Subritzky, deceased, were licensed to use and occupy a part of the foreshore and land below low-water mark in the Awanui River as a site for a wharf and shed:
    And whereas the trustees have applied to have the hereinbefore-recited Order in Council revoked, and it is desirable to revoke the same:
    Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority conferred upon him by the Harbours Act, 1923, and of all other powers and authorities enabling him in that behalf, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby revoke the hereinbefore-recited Order in Council of the twentieth day of October, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-seven, as from the first day of April, one thousand nine hundred and forty-seven.
