thereon coloured red.

ORDER IN COUNCIL
At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 9th day of
April, 1947
Present:
THE RIGHT HON. P. FRASER PRESIDING IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to section one hundred and twenty-eight of the
Public Works Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the
advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion,
do hereby approve of the following resolution passed by the
Dunedin City Council on the third day of March, one thousand
nine hundred and forty-seven, viz.:-
β€œ That the Dunedin City Council, being the local authority
having control of the streets in the City of Dunedin, by
resolution declares that the provisions of section one hundred
and twenty-eight of the Public Works Act, 1928, shall not
apply to the eastern side of the portion of Taieri Road adjoining
Lot 13, D.P. 158, being part Section 107, Wakari Survey
District, such land being comprised and described in
Certificate of Title 220/71”;
subject to the condition that no building or part of a building
shall at any time be erected on the land fronting the eastern side
of the portion of Taieri Road (described in the Schedule hereto)
within a distance of thirty-three feet from the centre-line of the
said portion of street.

SCHEDULE

THE eastern side of all that portion of street situated in the Otago
Land District, City of Dunedin, known as Taieri Road, fronting
Lot 13, D.P. 158, Township of Wakari. As the same is more
particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 124605, deposited
in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon
edged red,

Land temporarily reserved in the North Auckland Land District

WHEREAS by the three-hundred-and-fifty-ninth section of the
Land Act, 1924, it is enacted that the Governor-General
may from time to time set apart temporarily as reserves, notwith-
standing that the same may be then held under pastoral license,
any Crown lands which in his opinion are required for any of the
purposes in the said section mentioned :
Now, therefore, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Frey-
berg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand,
in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred
upon me by the said Act, do hereby temporarily reserve the land in
the North Auckland Land District, described in the Schedule here-
under written, for a Native-school site.

SCHEDULE

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT

ALL that area in the Whangaroa County situated in Block IV,
Maungataniwha Survey District, containing by admeasurement
2 acres 2 roods 12 perches, more or less, being all the land on
D.P. 27232, being portion Otangaroa No. lc 4B Block. As the
same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S.
6/6/97, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and
Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red..

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General,
this 9th day of April, 1947.

Officers authorized to execute Documents on behalf of the
Rehabilitation Board

Pursuant to section eighteen of the Rehabilitation Amend-
ment Act, 1944, and pursuant to a request made to me by
the Rehabilitation Board in this behalf, I, Lieutenant-General Sir
Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of
New Zealand, do hereby authorize the officers of the Public Service
whose names are set out in the Schedule hereto to execute, on behalf
of the Rehabilitation Board, deeds and other documents being
agreements relating to the hire and purchase of tools of trade and
other chattels supplied to persons undergoing training at a rehabili-
tation trade-training centre.

The Cook Islands Act, 1915.-Persons qualified for Appointment as
Assessors in Criminal Trials

Pursuant to the authority vested in me by section two
hundred and ninety-five of the Cook Islands Act, 1915, I,
Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby revoke the
nomination of persons qualified for appointment as assessors in
criminal trials in the High Court of the Cook Islands, made by
Warrant dated the fifth day of July, one thousand nine hundred
and thirty-eight, and gazetted in the New Zealand Gazette No. 52
of the fourteenth day of July, one thousand nine hundred and
thirty-eight, at page 1654, and in lieu thereof I hereby nominate
the persons named in the following ten Schedules hereto as persons
qualified for appointment as assessors under the said Act, generally
in criminal trials in the High Court of the Cook Islands wheresoever
such trials may be held (except in the Island of Niue), and I do
declare this Warrant to take effect on the fifteenth day of April,
one thousand nine hundred and forty-seven.
