The notice appearing in the New Zealand Gazette No. 1, dated
10th January, 1946, page 18, under the heading "Reserve of Air
Force Officers-Transfers," relating to "Flight Lieutenant Leslie
Thomas Elding Young," is amended to read "Dated 28th November,
1945."
The notice appearing in the New Zealand Gazette No. 66, dated
26th September, 1946, page 1296, under the heading "Reserve of
Air Force Officers-Transfers," relating to "Flying Officer William
Robert MORRIS, D.F.C.," is amended to read "Dated 14th November,
1946."

Formation of New Unit and Corps, Constitution of Generals' List
and Colonels' List, Amalgamation, Redesignation, and Dis-
banding of Corps, New Zealand Military Forces
Army Department,
Wellington, 13th January, 1947.
H IS Excellency the Governor-General has been pleased to
approve, under section 6 (a), Defence Act, 1909, of the
formation of a new corps of the New Zealand Military Forces, a new
unit of that corps, the constitution of a Generals' List and a Colonels'
List, and the amalgamation, redesignation, and disbanding of corps
of the New Zealand Military Forces, as set out hereunder. Dated
9th January, 1947:--
(a) The following new corps is formed :-
The New Zealand Infantry Corps.
(b) The following new regiment is formed as part of the New
Zealand Infantry Corps:--
The New Zealand Regiment.
(c) The following lists are constituted as part of the New
Zealand Military Forces :-
(1) A Generals' List.
(2) A Colonels' List.
(d) The following corps of the New Zealand Military Forces are
amalgamated and redesignated as shown hereunder:--
Existing Corps. New Designation.
R.N.Z.A. and N.Z.A. ... R.N.Z.A.
N.Z.P.A.S.C. and N.Z.A.S.C. ... N.Z.A.S.C.
N.Z.A.O.C. and N.Z.O.C. ... N.Z.A.O.C.
N.Z.A.M.C. and N.Z.M.C. ... N.Z.A.M.C.
(e) The existing designation of the New Zealand Dental Corps
is abolished and this unit of the New Zealand Military Forces is
redesignated as follows :--
N.Z. Army Dental Corps.
(f) The following corps of the New Zealand Military Forces
are disbanded :--
N.Z. Staff Corps.
N.Z. Permanent Staff.
N.Z. Permanent Army Service Corps.
The General Duty Section of the N.Z. Permanent Forces.
N.Z. Artillery.
N.Z. Medical Corps.
N.Z. Veterinary Corps.
N.Z. Ordnance Corps
(g) All corps of the New Zealand Military Forces now sub-
sisting as set out in paragraph 1 of the Regulations for the N.Z.
Military Forces, as amended by Amendment No. 56, whether
expressed to be formed as corps of the Permanent Forces, the
Territorial Force, or of the New Zealand Military Forces, and
whether formed under section 6 (a) of the Defence Act, 1909, or
under any other powers thereunto enabling, shall be deemed to have
been and are hereby constituted as corps of the New Zealand
Military Forces under the said section anything otherwise expressed
in any other enactment, regulation, or decree to the contrary not-
withstanding.
(h) All references in the Regulations for the New Zealand
Military Forces 1927, or in any other regulations (hereinafter called
the said regulations) to any of the above corps which are hereby
amalgamated or redesignated shall hereafter be deemed to be
references to the appropriate new corps as hereby redesignated,
and all references in the said regulations to any of the above corps
which are hereby disbanded shall be deleted therefrom, and the
regulations for the New Zealand Military Forces 1927 are amended
accordingly.

Appointment of Directors of the State Advances Corporation of
New Zealand

IT is notified that, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and
authorities conferred by section 9 of the State Advances
Corporation Act, 1936, His Excellency the Governor-General of the
Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and
consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, has
appointed-

to be Directors of the State Advances Corporation of New
Zealand, to hold office during pleasure, such appointment to take
