Declaring Land taken for a Government Work, and not required for that Purpose, to be Crown Land

A PROCLAMATION
Pursuant to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby declare the land described in the Schedule hereto to be Crown land subject to the Land Act, 1924.
SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land declared to be Crown land : 2 roods 22-7 perches.
Being part Suburban Section 1506, Township of Bunnythorpe, within the Township of Palmerston.
Situated in Block VII, Kairanga Survey District. (S.O. 20409.)
In the Wellington Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 108860, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon edged violet.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 7th day of January, 1947.

Proclaiming a Road-line laid out in Block III, Maketu Survey District, Auckland Land District, to be a Public Road

A PROCLAMATION
WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto was, by an order of the Native Land Court made on the twenty-fourth day of November, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-five, duly laid out as a road-line in pursuance of section forty-eight of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1913:
And whereas the said Court is of the opinion that it is in the public interest that the said road-line should be proclaimed as a public road, and a notification to that effect has been forwarded to the Minister of Lands, in terms of section four hundred and eighty-six of the Native Land Act, 1931:
And whereas one month's notice in writing of the intention to proclaim the said road-line as a public road has been given by the Surveyor-General to the local authority of the district concerned, in terms of subsection two of section four hundred and eighty-seven of the Native Land Act, 1931:
And whereas it is now expedient that the said road-line should be proclaimed as a public road:
Now, therefore, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section four hundred and eighty-seven of the Native Land Act, 1931, do hereby proclaim as a public road the road-line described in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land proclaimed as a road : 3 acres 2 roods 34 perches.
Being part Pukaingataru B 24 Block.
Situated in Block III, Maketu Survey District. (N.L. plan 14468.)
In the Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 16/3018, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, under No. 2962, and thereon coloured red.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 8th day of January, 1947.

Pursuant to the Public Works Act, 1928, and Regulation 24-04 of the Electrical Supply Regulations 1935, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by
and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and with the consent and at the request of the licensee, doth hereby accept the surrender by the licensee of the licenses granted to it by the Orders in Council dated the seventh day of February, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-six, and published in the Gazette on the thirteenth day of the same month, at page 269, and dated the tenth day of June, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-seven, and published in the Gazette on the seventeenth day of the same month, at page 1463, authorizing Bruce Bay Timbers, Limited, a company duly incorporated under the Companies Act, 1933, and having its registered office at Hokitika, to use water for the purpose of generating electricity, and to erect and use certain electric lines in the County of Westland.

Authorizing the Acquisition of Land notwithstanding the Provisions as to Limitations of Area

Pursuant to section forty-one of the Statutes Amendment Act, 1945, and of all other powers him enabling, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, doth hereby authorize the disposition to and the acquisition by Edward Spearman Johnstone, of Methven, Farmer, of the land described in the Schedule hereto, notwithstanding the provisions of Part XIII of the Land Act, 1924.
SCHEDULE
Canterbury Land District
All that area containing 48 acres 3 roods 15 perches, being Rural Section 35915, Block X, Spaxton Survey District, and being all the land comprised and described in Certificate of Title, Volume 300, folio 231 (Canterbury Registry).

Pursuant to section forty-one of the Statutes Amendment Act, 1945, and all other powers him enabling, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, doth hereby authorize the disposition to and the acquisition by the Public Trustee as to a two-third's share and Clarence Montague Meredith as to a one-third share in the lands described in the Schedule hereto, notwithstanding the provisions of Part XIII of the Land Act, 1924.
