(12) All that area of land at Flaxton, 1 chain in width, including
the roadway on either side of the main drain, extending in a westerly
direction from the Skew Bridge to Smith’s Road, a distance of two
miles, comprising part Rural Sections 1762, 1446, 1621, 1613, 1220,
1640, 2066, 1283, 2010, 1693, 1695, 1685, 1616, 1221, 1058, 1168,
and 404, Rangiora Survey District.

(13) All that area of land containing 62 acres, more or less, at
Coutts Island, in the Land District of Canterbury, and being parts
of Rural Sections 2208, 2272, 2383, 2384, and a portion of closed
road situated in Block II of the Christchurch Survey District, as
shown on plan marked I.A. 46/16/25, deposited in the Head Office
of the Department of Internal Affairs at Wellington, being thereon
edged in red.

OTAGO ACCLIMATIZATION DISTRICT

(1) The lagoon known as Tomahawk Lagoon (Otago Peninsula).

(2) Section 22, Block IV, Sutton District, being the property of
Mr. E. J. Docherty.

(3) Section 121c, Block IX, Dunback and Hummockside
Districts, the property of Mr. John Philip, Palmerston.

(4) The Brighton River (known as Boat Harbour Creek) from
Duff’s Bridge on the top of Lobb’s boundary to the sea.

(5) The lake on Section 1, Wilden Settlement, Wart Hill Survey
District, and all the land included in the area of three-quarters of a
mile surrounding the said lake (the property of Mr. Geo. R. Young).

(6) Finegand Lagoon, on the property of Mr. M. McAllister, of
Balclutha, being Section part 11, Block XVII, and Sections 13,
14, 15, 16, Block XXII, Clutha Survey District.

(7) The property of G. S. Bennett and W. A. Bennett as under :—
Part Section 3A, Duncan Settlement, Block VIII, Dunedin and
East Taieri Survey District, Lots 32 and 33, Township of
Brighton View (Plan 2643), and being part of Section 52
and closed road, Block VIII, Dunedin and East Taieri
District, and including that portion of the stream known
as Taylor’s Creek between the bridge and the sea.

(8) Sections parts 1, 2, and 3, Block XV, East Taieri Survey
District, the property of Mr. L. C. Hazlett.

(9) The lake known as the Blue Lake on the property of Miss B.
Scherp, part Block II, St. Bathan’s Survey District.

ROTORUA ACCLIMATIZATION DISTRICT

(1) Lake Rotoiti.

(2) Lake Rotoaira and the land within one mile of the shore
of that lake.

(3) All that portion of Lake Rotorua inside a line running due
east from the most northern point of Rotorua Wharf to a point
two hundred yards from and due north of Motutara Point, thence
in a straight line to Motutara Point.

(4) All that area in the Auckland Land District, being Lake
Rerewhakaitu, road, and foreshore reserve, situated in Blocks XIII
and XIV, Ruawahia Survey District, and I and II, Kaingaroa
Survey District, bounded as follows : Towards the east generally
by Section 2, Block XIII, and Section 1, Block XIV, Ruawahia
Survey District ; towards the south generally by Section 1, Block II,
Lot 2 of Section 1, Block I, Kaingaroa Survey District, and the
crossing of a public road ; towards the west generally by Lot 1
of Section 1, Kaingaroa Survey District, Section 1, Block XIII,
Ruawahia Survey District, the crossing of a public road, again
Section 1 aforesaid, the crossing of a public road, and again Section 1
aforesaid (as delineated on plan No. 22960, deposited in the District
Office of the Lands and Survey Department at Auckland) ; as
the same is more particularly delineated on the photostat numbered
46/16/12, lodged in the Head Office of the Department of Internal
Affairs, Wellington, being thereon outlined in white.

(5) All that area in the Rotorua County, situated in Blocks
XII, XV, and XVI, Tarawera Survey District, bounded by a line
commencing at Scar Point on the southern shore of Rotomahana
in Block XVI aforesaid ; thence due south along a right line for
a distance of 1 chain ; thence south-westerly, westerly, and northerly
generally along a line 1 chain distant from the shore of Rotomahana
to the south-eastern boundary of Section 4, Block XV aforesaid ;
thence south-westerly along that boundary and the south-eastern
boundary of Section 1, Block XV aforesaid ; thence southerly,
westerly, northerly, and easterly along the eastern, southern,
western, and northern boundaries of Section 1 aforesaid to its
north-eastern corner : thence north-easterly along the north-
western boundaries of Sections 5A, 1, 3, 4, and 2, Block XV afore-
said, and easterly along the northern boundary of the said Section 2
to a point 1 chain distant from the north-western shore of Roto-
mahana ; thence north-easterly and easterly generally along a line
1 chain distant from the shore of that lake to the western boundary
of the Internal Communication Reserve in Block XII aforesaid ;
thence northerly, north-easterly, and south-easterly generally along
the western, north-western, and north-eastern boundaries of that
reserve to the north-western shore of Rotomahana ; thence south-
westcrly along that shore to the wharf at the generally southern
end of the Internal Communication Reserve aforesaid, and a right
line across the lake to Scar Point, the point of commencement.

(6) Section 5, Block VII, Opotiki Survey District, containing
57 acres, and being the property of Mr. George Gaskill, of Waioeka.

(7) Section 48, Apanui Settlement, containing 57 acres, and being
the property of Mr. F. C. Butt.

(8) Section 1s, Apanui Settlement, containing 83 acres, and being
the property of Mr. T. M. Davis.

(9) Section 5, Apanui Settlement, containing 57 acres, and
being the property of Mr. A. J. W. Kemp.

(10) That portion of Opoho Block, Wairoa, Block V, Nuhaka
Survey District, lying between the Wairoa-Gisborne Road and the
sea, being an area of approximately 350 acres, the property of
T. W. G. Tombleson, Esquire.

(11) All that area in the Whakatane County, situated in
Blocks VII and VIII, Waimana Survey District, containing by
admeasurement 348 acres 1 rood and 19 perches, more or less, being
Waimana Nos. 1D 4C 2, 1D 1B 2B 1, 1D 1B 2B 2, and 1D 1B 2B 3
Blocks, being the property of R. F. Wardlaw, Esquire.

(12) Block 14, southern portion Lot 14, and Sections 1 and 2,
Waimana Parish, containing approximately 263 acres, being the
property of H. H. Smith, Esquire.

(13) All that area in the Gisborne Land District situated in
Block XIX, Waikaremoana Survey District, and Blocks III and IV,
Waiau Survey District, bounded by a line commencing at a point
on the right bank of the Waikaretaheke River where it is inter-
sected by the south-eastern boundary of Section 4, Block I, Waiau
Survey District ; thence south-easterly along the said right bank
of the Waikaretaheke River to a point in line with the southern
boundary of the Forest Reserve ; thence easterly across the said
Waikaretaheke River and along the southern boundary of the
said Forest Reserve to the north-western corner of part Section 5,
Block IV, Waiau Survey District ; thence southerly and generally
south-easterly along the western boundary of the said part Section 5
to the left bank of the said Waikaretaheke River ; thence north-
westcrly along the left bank of the said river to a point in line with
the northern boundary of Part I, Te Kopani Native Reserve (plan
S.O. 4113) ; thence north-westerly across the said Waikaretaheke
River, to and along the said northern boundary of Part I, Te Kopani
Native Reserve, to a public road ; thence along the north side of
the said public road, to and across the said Waikaretaheke River
to its left bank ; thence continuing in a north-westerly direction
along the said left bank of the Waikaretaheke River to a point in
line with the western boundary of a river-bank reserve ; thence
south-easterly across the said Waikaretaheke River, to and along
the said western boundary of the river-bank reserve, to and along
the northern boundary of part Section 5, Block III, Waiau Survey
District, to the north side of Lake House Road ; thence south-
westcrly along the north side of the aforesaid road to the northern
boundary of part Section 5, Block III, Waiau Survey District ;
thence north-westerly along the said northern boundary of part
Section 5 to the north side of the Lake House Road aforesaid ;
thence continuing north-westerly along the north side of the said
road to the most southerly corner of Section 4, Block I, Waiau
Survey District ; thence north-easterly along the south-eastern
boundary of the said Section 4 to the point of commencement. All
the above area, excluding therefrom the Kaitawa Sanctuary as
described in Gazette No. 23 of March 26th, 1931, page 716.

SOUTH CANTERBURY ACCLIMATIZATION DISTRICT

(1) All that area in the Canterbury Land District, being S.G.R.
94, and known as Mount Hay Station: Bounded on the east by
the summit of the Two Thumb Range ; on the south by Runs 209
and 76 ; on the west by Lake Tekapo ; and on the north generally
by Boundary Creek from its mouth to its source in the Two Thumb
Range ; thence by a right line to the summit of the said range, the
place of commencement.

(2) All that area in the Canterbury Land District, being Run 78,
and known as Lilybank Station : Bounded on the east by the
summit of the Two Thumb Range from McClure Peak to the Thumbs
Mountain ; thence on the south-east by a right line to a stream
having its source on the Thumbs, and by that stream to the Macaulay
River ; thence by the right bank of the Macaulay River to its
confluence with the Godley River ; thence on the west by the left
bank of the Godley River, and on the north by the Godley Glacier
to McClure Peak, the place of commencement.

(3) All that area in the Canterbury Land District, being Run
No. 241, situated in Blocks I, II, IV, V, and VIII, Mount Peel
Survey District, and Blocks IV, VI, VII, VIII, X, XI, and XII,
Fox Survey District, and bounded on the north-west by Forest
Creek ; on the north-east by the Rangitata River ; on the east
by S.G. Run No. 98 ; on the south-east by the Hewson River ;
and the eastern boundary of the said Run 241 to the Phantom River ;
thence by the Phantom River to Walker’s Spur ; thence up that
spur and along the south-western boundary of the said Run 241
to Forest Creek, the place of commencement.

(4) The property of the N.Z. Refrigerating Co., Ltd., at Smith-
field, containing 59 acres 3 roods 13 perches, being Lot 27 on Plan 578,
deposited in the office of the District Land Registrar at Christchurch,
and being all the land comprised in certificate of title, Vol. 103,
folio 262, Canterbury Registry, bounded on the west generally by
the South Island Main Trunk Railway, on the east generally by the
Waitarakao Lagoon, and on the south by the TaitarakihI Creek.

(5) Mackenzie County Council’s hydro-electric dam at Fairlie.

(6) All that area in the Canterbury Land District, being Run 77,
and known as Richmond Station : Bounded on the east by the
summit of the Two Thumb Range ; on the south by Boundary
Creek from its source to Lake Tekapo ; on the west by Lake Tekapo
to the mouth of Coal River ; thence by that river to its source ;
and thence by a right line to the summit of the Two Thumb Range,
the place of commencement.

SOUTHERN LAKES ACCLIMATIZATION DISTRICT

(1) All that area in the Otago Land District; containing by
admeasurement 230 acres, more or less, being part of the Town
of Kinloch, and bounded as follows : Towards the north by the
northern side of Loch Carron Street ; towards the east by the
eastern side of Nevis Street ; towards the south by the southern
side of Skye Street ; towards the east generally by the eastern side
of Armadale Street ; towards the south by the southern side of
Barra Street ; towards the west by the western side of Islay Street ;
and excepting from the said parcel of land Sections 1 to 5, Block I,
Section 3, 4, and 27, Block XVII, Section 6, Block XVIII, Sections 3
to 7, 10 to 13, Block XX, Sections 8 to 15, Block XXI, Town of
Kinloch. As the same is more particularly shown on plan marked
L. and S. 23/807, deposited in the Head Office of the Department
of Lands and Survey at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

(2) The Haast River watershed, including the Landsborough
and Clark Valleys.

(3) Roy’s Bay, Lake Wanaka, from Eely Point to Scar Burn
outlet into the lake, and any area within a quarter of a mile of the
edge of the lake between Eely Point and the Scar Burn.

(4) The Township of Wanaka.
