A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to section twelve of the Land Act, 1924, I,
Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as
closed the portions of road described in the Schedule hereto.

In the Westland Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 124977, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 19th day of March, 1947.

Crown Land set apart as a Permanent State Forest

A PROCLAMATION

BY virtue and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by section eighteen of the Forests Act, 1921–22, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby set apart the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto as a permanent State forest.

SCHEDULE

AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.—ROTORUA CONSERVANCY

ALL that area in the Auckland Land District, Whakatane County, containing by admeasurement 3,391 acres 2 roods 10·8 perches, more or less, being Sections 29 and 30, Block III, and Section 23, Block VII, Rotoma Survey District. As the same is more particularly delineated on plan No. 31/11, deposited in the Head Office of the State Forest Service at Wellington, and thereon bordered red. (Auckland plan S.O. 33022.)

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 19th day of March, 1947.

Land set apart as Provisional State Forest declared to be subject to the Land Act, 1924

A PROCLAMATION

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by section twenty of the Forests Act, 1921–22, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting on the recommendation of the Minister of Lands, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto, being Provisional State Forest Reserve No. 87, set apart by Proclamation dated the ninth day of April, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-five, and gazetted on the eighteenth day of that month, is required for settlement purposes; and, in accordance with the provisions of the said Act, such land shall, from and after the day of the gazetting hereof, cease to be provisional State forest, and shall become subject to the provisions of the Land Act, 1924.

Lands reserved under the Scenery Preservation Act, 1908

A PROCLAMATION

WHEREAS the Scenery Preservation Board, constituted pursuant to the Scenery Preservation Act, 1908 (hereinafter referred to as the said Act), has recommended that the lands described in the Schedule hereto should be permanently reserved for scenic purposes, and it is expedient to give effect to such recommendation:
Now, therefore, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the said Act, do hereby proclaim and declare that the lands described in the Schedule hereto shall be scenic reserves under the said Act, and subject to the provisions thereof.

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT

ALL that area in the Bay of Islands County, containing 108 acres 1 rood 25 perches, more or less, and being Section 17 (formerly part Section 13), Block I, Hukerenui Survey District. As the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 9/625, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red. (S.O. plan 32627.)

All that area in the Bay of Islands County, containing 114 acres 2 roods, more or less, and being Section 14, Block I, Hukerenui Survey District. As the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 27/147, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red. (S.O. plan 29467.)

All that area in the Whangaroa County, containing 217 acres 3 roods 20 perches, more or less, and being Allotments N.W. 6, S. 6, and Lots 1 and 2 (Allotment N. 6 and part Allotment 102), D.P. 29046, Parish of Kaeo. As the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 4/872, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red. (S.O. plan 6190.)
