All that portion of the Bay of Islands County, bounded by a line commencing at Howe Point, in Block IX, Bay of Islands Survey District; thence easterly along a line to Motukokako on Piercy Island; thence southerly along a line, so as to include adjacent islands, to a point on the sea-coast on the northern boundary of Whangaroa-Ngaiotonga No. 4F Block, and being a point on the boundary of the Bay of Islands County; thence westerly, southerly, and again westerly generally along that county boundary, being the northern and north-western boundaries of the said 4F Block, the north-western boundary of Whangaroa-Ngaiotonga No. 4G Block, the north-eastern and western boundaries of the Tutaematai Block, the western boundaries of Sections 6 and 5, Block XII, Russell Survey District, the western boundaries of Waikokopu Block, Punaruku'Block, the north-western and western boundaries of Punaruku No. 2 Block, the western and southern boundaries of Pare mata-Mokau Block, the western boundary of Section 3, Block IV, Hukerenui Survey District, the northern boundary of Section 11, Block IV aforesaid, and its production across a public road, the eastern, northern and western boundaries of Section 11, Block III, Hukerenui Survey District, across a public road, the western boundaries of Sections 12 and 13, Block III aforesaid, and Sections 5 and 6, Block VII, Hukerenui Survey District, the northern and western boundaries of Section 3, the western boundary of Section 4, both of Block VII aforesaid, the western boundary of Puhipuhi No. 4A 1 Block, the northern and part north-eastern boundaries of Section 50, Block VI, Hukerenui Survey District, the northern and western boundaries of Section 65, Block VI aforesaid, the production north-easterly of the north-western boundary of Section 66, Block VI aforesaid, a right line across a public road, the north-western boundary of Section 66 aforesaid, the production of that boundary to the middle of the Waiotu River, the middle of that river and the Ngaruawahine Stream, the eastern side of a public road intersecting Section 17, Block X, Hukerenui Survey District, across that road, the northern side of the Whangarei-Kawakawa Main Highway, the production northwards and the western boundary of Section 19, Block X aforesaid, the northern boundaries of Sections 38 and 49, a right line across a public road, the northern and western boundaries of Section 61, a right line across a public road, the western boundaries of Sections 48 and 50, the northern and western boundaries of Section 51, the production of the last-mentioned boundary across a public road, the northern boundary of Section 52, all the aforesaid sections being of Block X, Hukerenui Survey District, a right line bearing due south across a public road, the northern, western, and south-western boundaries of Section 32, Block IX, Hukerenui Survey District, the western boundary of Section 32, Block X aforesaid, the northern boundaries of Sections 3, 4, and 5, Block XIII, Hukerenui Survey District, the eastern boundaries of Sections 24 and 23, Block IX aforesaid, the northern boundary of the said Section 23, the western boundaries of Sections 23 and 24 aforesaid, across a public road, the northern and part western boundaries of Section N.W. 13, Block XIII aforesaid, the northern boundary generally of the Mangakowhara Block, the northern and part south-western boundaries of Kaikou No. 3 Block, crossing several intervening roads, and part of the northern boundary of the middle portion of Nukutawhiti Block, to a point on the boundary of the Western Kaikohe Tribal District herein-before described; thence northerly, easterly, and again northerly generally along that boundary to Howe Point, the point of commencement.

Additional Land at Paekakariki taken for the Purposes of the Wellington-Foxton Railway

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of the Wellington-Foxton Railway.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land : 1 acre 0 roods 2·6 perches. Being part Section 40, and part Lot 1, D.P. 10511, being part Section 40, Wainui District.

Situated in Block II, Paekakariki Survey District, Hutt County. (S.O. 21510.)

In the Wellington Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 8717, deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and thereon coloured orange.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 15th day of March, 1947.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the First Schedule hereto is hereby taken subject to the right-of-way over the land described in the Second Schedule hereto, created in and by Memoranda of Transfer Nos. 227518, 243630, and 244346, Auckland Registry, and together with the right-of-way over the land described in the Third Schedule hereto, created in and by the said Memoranda of Transfer Nos. 227518, 243630, and 244346, Auckland Registry, for a post-office; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the twenty-fourth day of March, one thousand nine hundred and forty-seven.
