Additional Land at Takapau taken for the Purposes of the
Wellington-Napier Railway

A PROCLAMATION

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in
me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of the Wellington-Napier Railway.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE areas of the pieces of land taken:—

A. R.P.
0 3 26 Part Lot 1, D.P. 7172, being part of the Otawhao
and part of the Whenuahou Blocks; coloured
orange.
Situated in Blocks III and VII, Takapau Survey District.
0 0 35 Part Lot 2, D.P. 1054, being part Whenuahou
D.E. No. 2A Block; coloured sepia.
Situated in Block VII, Takapau Survey District.
Situated in Waipawa County. (S.O. 2229.)
In the Hawke's Bay Land District; as the same are more
particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 8698, deposited in
the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and thereon
coloured as above mentioned.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General
of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the
Seal of that Dominion, this 5th day of March, 1947.

Crown Land set apart as a Permanent State Forest

A PROCLAMATION

BY virtue and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred
upon me by section eighteen of the Forests Act, 1921-22,
I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby set apart the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto as a permanent State forest.

SCHEDULE

NELSON LAND DISTRICT.—NELSON CONSERVANCY

ALL that area in the Nelson Land District, Buller County, containing by admeasurement 95 acres 3 roods 37 perches, more or less, being Sections 11 and 12, Block VII, Kawatiri Survey District. As the same is more particularly delineated on plan No. 106/12, deposited in the Head Office of the State Forest Service at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General
of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the
the Seal of that Dominion, this 10th day of February,
1947.

Consenting to the Raising of a Loan of £8,900, by the Bluff Harbour
Board and prescribing the Conditions thereof

ORDER IN COUNCIL

At the Government House at Wellington, this 5th day of
March, 1947

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL

WHEREAS the Bluff Harbour Board (hereinafter called the said local authority), being desirous of raising a loan of eight thousand nine hundred pounds (£8,900), to be known as “Redemption Loan, No. 11, 1946” (hereinafter called the said loan), for the purpose of redeeming portion of a loan of twelve thousand pounds (£12,000), being part of No. 7 Loan, 1931, of £52,400, to the extent that sinking funds were insufficient, has complied with the provisions of the Local Government Loans Board Act, 1926 (hereinafter called the said Act), and it is expedient that the precedent consent of the Governor-General in Council, as required by the said Act, should be given to the raising of the said loan:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on him by section eleven of the said Act, as set out in section twenty-nine of the Finance Act, 1932 (No. 2), and of all other powers and authorities enabling him in this behalf, doth hereby consent to the raising in New Zealand by the said local authority of the said loan for the said purpose up to the amount of eight thousand nine hundred pounds (£8,900), and in giving such consent doth hereby determine as follows:—

(1) The term for which the said loan or any part thereof may be raised shall not exceed ten (10) years.
