A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to section twelve of the Land Act, 1924, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as street the land described in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land proclaimed as street: 1 rood 10·4 perches.
Being part Rural Section 76.
Situated in the City of Christchurch (Canterbury R.D.). (S.O. 7682.)
In the Canterbury Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 124860, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured orange.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 26th day of February, 1947.

Alteration of Boundaries, Christchurch Drainage District

A PROCLAMATION
IN pursuance of the powers and authorities vested in me by section two of the Christchurch District Drainage Amendment Act, 1920, and of all other powers and authorities enabling me in this behalf, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby declare that the area described in the Schedule hereto shall be added to and form part of the Christchurch Drainage District; and, with the like powers and authorities, do hereby also declare that the said area shall be added to the Rural Heathcote Sub-district of the said district.
SCHEDULE
ALL that area in the County of Heathcote, Canterbury Land District, situated in Block XV, Christchurch Survey District, and bounded as follows: Commencing at a point on the boundary of the Christchurch Drainage District at the south-west corner of Lot 36 on a plan numbered 7182, deposited in the office of the Registrar of Lands at Christchurch; thence proceeding in a north-westerly direction by the south-western boundary of Lot 2, Plan 5617, deposited as aforesaid; towards the north by the eastern side of Centaurus Road to a point in line with the southern boundary of Lot 1, Plan 7785, deposited as aforesaid; thence to and by the southern boundary of that lot and by a line in continuation thereof to the boundary of the Christchurch Drainage District; thence following that boundary generally in a northerly, easterly, and southerly direction to the point of commencement.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 21st day of February, 1947.

Altering and Redefining the Boundaries of the Akitio Rabbit District.—(Notice No. Ag. 4388)

ORDER IN COUNCIL
At the Government House at Wellington, this 25th day of February, 1947
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
WHEREAS by section thirty-one of the Rabbit Nuisance Act, 1928, it is enacted that the Governor-General, at the request of the Board of any rabbit district, may, by Order in Council, alter and redefine the boundaries of its district:
And whereas the district known as the Akitio Rabbit District has been constituted under and for the purposes of the said Act:
And whereas the Board of the said district has, pursuant to the said section thirty-one of the said Act, requested that the boundaries of its district be altered and redefined by including an additional area therein:
And whereas the consent of a majority of the persons in such additional area qualified to be enrolled on the ratepayers' list for the said district has been given to the inclusion of such additional area in the said district:
And whereas it is deemed expedient to alter and redefine the boundaries of the said district accordingly:
Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by the said Act, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, doth hereby—
(1) Alter and redefine the boundaries of the said district so constituted as aforesaid;
(2) Declare that the boundaries of the said district shall be those set forth in the Schedule hereto; and, further,
(3) Declare that this Order in Council shall come into force on the day following publication hereof in the Gazette.
SCHEDULE
BOUNDARIES OF THE AKITIO RABBIT DISTRICT
ALL that parcel of land in the Wellington Land District, situated in the Akitio County, bounded as follows: Commencing at the Alfredton-Weber Road on the Akitio-Weber County boundary; thence easterly and south-easterly along the county boundary to the sea-coast; thence south-westerly along the sea-coast to the mouth of the Aohanga River; thence north-westerly along the Aohanga River to where it is crossed at Pongaroa by the Alfredton-Weber Road; thence north-easterly along the Alfredton-Weber Road to the point of commencement; excepting thereout Lot 1, Deposited Plan 2119.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby authorize Thor Walter Martinius Nielsen, of Halfmoon Bay, Engineer (hereinafter referred to as the licensee), to lay, construct, put up, place, and use the electric lines described in the Schedule hereto on the following conditions.
CONDITIONS
- IMPLIED CONDITIONS
THE conditions directed to be implied in all licenses by the Electrical Supply Regulations 1935 shall be incorporated herein and shall form part of this license except in so far as the same may be inconsistent with the provisions hereof.
- LICENSE TO BE SUBJECT TO REGULATIONS
The license hereby conferred is subject to compliance by the licensee with the Electrical Wiring Regulations 1935, the Electrical Supply Regulations 1935, the Radio Interference Regulations 1934, and with all regulations made or to be made in amplification or amendment thereof or in substitution therefor.
- SYSTEM OF SUPPLY
The system of supply shall be classified under paragraph (d) of clause 21-01 of the Electrical Supply Regulations 1935. The voltage of generation and transmission over the lines hereby authorized shall be approximately 230 volts direct current.
- DURATION OF LICENSE
Unless sooner determined, this license shall continue in force until the 31st day of March, 1967, or until electrical energy is available from an Electric-power Board or other general public source, whichever is the earlier.
