NOTICE is hereby given that the Native Land Court and the Maori Land Board will sit at Gisborne on Tuesday, the 11th day of March, 1947, or as soon thereafter as possible to hear and determine the matters in the Schedule hereunder.

CROWN LANDS NOTICE
Village Land in Wellington Land District for Selection on Renewable Lease
District Lands and Survey Office,
Wellington, 25th February, 1947.
NOTICE is hereby given that the undermentioned section is open for selection on renewable lease under the Land Act, 1924; and applications will be received at the District Lands and Survey Office, Wellington, up to 11 o'clock a.m. on Monday, 24th March, 1947.
Applicants should appear personally for examination at the District Lands and Survey Office, Wellington, on Wednesday, 26th March, 1947, at 10 o'clock a.m., but if any applicant is unable to attend he may be examined by any other Land Board or by any Commissioner of Crown Lands.
The ballot will be held immediately upon conclusion of the examination of applicants, and the successful applicant is required to pay immediately at conclusion of ballot a deposit comprising the first half-year's rent, broken-period rent, lease fee, and amount of weighting for improvements.

WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT.—VILLAGE LAND
Waimarino County.—Ohakune Village Settlement
SECTION 12: Area, 5 acres. Capital value, £70; half-yearly rent, £1 15s.
Weighted with £35 (payable in cash) for improvements, comprising fencing, felling, and stumping.
The section is situated in the Borough of Ohakune half a mile from the railway-station and post-office and a quarter of a mile from the school. The land is undulating with 2 acres swampy. The section is watered by a spring, and is suitable for a building-site.
