NOTICE OF DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP

NOTICE is hereby given that the partnership heretofore existing between CLARA MARTHA CUNNINGHAM and FLORENCE ESTHER COLLIER, both of Auckland, Married Women, trading as Corsetieres at 461 Karangahape Road, Auckland, under the name or style of “Cunningham and Collier,” was, by mutual consent between the parties, dissolved as from the 30th day of November, 1946.

The business will continue to be carried on by FLORENCE ESTHER COLLIER.

NORMAN DEMOLITION AND CONSTRUCTION COMPANY, LIMITED

IN VOLUNTARY LIQUIDATION

In the matter of the Companies Act, 1933, and in the matter of NORMAN DEMOLITION AND CONSTRUCTION COMPANY, LIMITED (in Voluntary Liquidation).

AT an extraordinary general meeting of the above-named company, duly convened and held on Wednesday, 24th July, 1946, the following resolution was duly passed:—

“That it has been proved to the satisfaction of this meeting that the company cannot by reason of its liabilities continue its business, and that it is advisable to wind up the same, and, accordingly, that the company be wound up voluntarily.”

At a meeting of creditors held on the same day GILBERT RALSTON CLARK, of Wellington, Public Accountant, was appointed liquidator for the purposes of such winding up.

HAMILTON CITY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Transit Housing Loan, £8,350, 1946

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, the Hamilton City Council hereby resolves—

“That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan not exceeding £8,350 (eight thousand three hundred and fifty pounds), authorized to be raised by the Hamilton City Council for the purpose of converting army huts for temporary housing, including the costs of cartage, labour, and materials, and the provision of gas, water, and drainage services for such housing on part Allotments 306, 307, 308, &c., of the Town of Hamilton East, the said Hamilton City Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of three-twentieths of a penny (3/20d.) in the pound (£) on the rateable value (unimproved) of all rateable property in the City of Hamilton; and such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan and shall be payable on the 31st day of March in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of ten years or until the loan is fully paid off.”

I hereby certify that the above is a true copy of a resolution passed by the Hamilton City Council at a duly constituted meeting held on the 11th day of December, 1946.

HAMILTON CITY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Transit Housing Loan (Dey Street), 1946, £3,000

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, the Hamilton City Council hereby resolves—

“That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan not exceeding £3,000 (three thousand pounds), authorized to be raised by the Hamilton City Council for the purpose of providing ten transit housing units on Section 36, East Belt, the loan to cover the purchase of any necessary materials, cartage, labour, supervision, and the provision of all the necessary services, the said Hamilton City Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one-seventeenth of a penny (1/17d.) in the pound (£) on the rateable value (unimproved) of all rateable property in the City of Hamilton; and such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan and shall be payable on the 31st day of March in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of ten years or until the loan is fully paid off.”

TAUMARUNUI BOROUGH COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, the Taumarunui Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:—

“That, for the purpose of providing the principal, interest, and other charges on a loan of £5,000, authorized to be raised by the Taumarunui Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of erecting a transit housing centre, the said Taumarunui Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of three-quarters of a penny in the pound upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property of the Borough of Taumarunui, comprising the whole of the Borough of Taumarunui; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable yearly on the 20th day of August in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of ten years or until the loan is fully paid off.”

We, the undersigned, hereby certify that the above resolution was duly passed at a meeting of the Taumarunui Borough Council held on the 12th day of December, 1946.

IN LIQUIDATION

NOTICE is hereby given that on the 18th day of December, 1946, the above-named company duly passed the following special resolution pursuant to section 300 (1) of the Companies Act, 1933:—

“That the company be wound up voluntarily.”

(2) Annual volume (including index) bound in buckram, 25s. (Volumes for years 1940, 1941, and 1942 are out of print.)

(3) Serially as issued and annual bound volume, as in (1) and (2) above, on combined subscription basis, 42s. per annum in advance.

(4) Separate regulations as issued.

(5) Loose-leaf binder for filing serial issues, 10s. 6d.; postage free.

The price of each regulation is printed thereon, facilitating the purchase of extra copies.

Orders on the subscription basis should be placed now with the Government Printer, Wellington. Separate copies may be purchased at the Chief Post-offices at Auckland, Christchurch, or Dunedin.
