Land temporarily reserved in the Nelson Land District
B. C. FREYBERG, Governor-General
WHEREAS by the three-hundred-and-fifty-ninth section of the Land Act, 1924, it is enacted that the Governor-General may from time to time set apart temporarily as reserves, notwithstanding that the same may be then held under pastoral license, any Crown lands which in his opinion are required for any of the purposes in the said section mentioned :
Now, therefore, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the said Act, do hereby temporarily reserve the land in the Nelson Land District described in the Schedule hereunder written for recreation purposes.
SCHEDULE
NELSON LAND DISTRICT
SECTION 26, Block II, Tutaki Survey District : Area, 7 acres 3 roods, more or less.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, this 13th day of December, 1946.

Land temporarily reserved in the Westland Land District for Recreation Purposes

WHEREAS by the three-hundred-and-fifty-ninth section of the Land Act, 1924, it is enacted that the Governor-General may from time to time set apart temporarily as reserves, notwithstanding that the same may be then held under pastoral license, any Crown lands which in his opinion are required for any of the purposes in the said section mentioned :

Vesting the Control of a Scenic Reserve in the Waitemata County Council

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by section thirteen of the Scenery Preservation Act, 1908 (hereinafter referred to as the said Act), His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand doth hereby vest the control of the scenic reserve described in the Schedule hereto (being land reserved under the said Act) in the Waitemata County Council, subject to the conditions hereinafter contained, that is to say :—

The period for which the control of the reserve is hereby vested shall be five years from the date hereof, unless the reservation is previously altered or revoked under the said Act.

The said Council shall prepare a report each year ending on the thirty-first day of March, together with a statement of receipts and expenditure in connection with the said reserve. Such report and statement shall be sent to the Minister charged with the administration of the said Act as soon as possible after the close of the year.

The said Council shall control the said reserve in accordance with the provisions of the said Act and of the regulations made thereunder.
SCHEDULE
NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.—PARR'S PARK SCENIC RESERVE
ALL that area containing by admeasurement 16 acres 2 roods, more or less, being portion Allotment 14, Waipareira Parish. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 4/363, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, this 17th day of December, 1946.

Vesting the Control of a Scenic Reserve in the Dannevirke County Council

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by section thirteen of the Scenery Preservation Act, 1908 (hereinafter referred to as the said Act), His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand doth hereby vest the control of the Ngapaeruru Scenic Reserve, described in the Schedule hereto (being land reserved under the said Act), in the Dannevirke County Council, subject to the conditions hereinafter contained, that is to say :—

Vesting the Control of a Scenic Reserve in the Akaroa County Council

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by section thirteen of the Scenery Preservation Act, 1908 (hereinafter referred to as the said Act), His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand doth hereby vest the control of the Otepatotu Scenic Reserve, described in the Schedule hereto (being land reserved under the said Act), in the Akaroa County Council, subject to the conditions hereinafter contained, that is to say :—

The period for which the control of the reserve is hereby vested shall be five years from the date hereof, unless the reservation is previously altered or revoked under the said Act.

The said Council shall prepare a report each year ending on the thirty-first day of March, together with a statement of receipts and expenditure in connection with the said reserve. OTEPATOTU SCENIC RESERVE
ALL that area in the Canterbury Land District, containing by admeasurement 37 acres, more or less, being Reserve No. 2791, situated in Block V, Okain's Survey District, and bounded as follows: Towards the west by Rural Section No. 35544, 1929·5 links; towards the north by Rural Section No. 35952, 1842·8 links; towards the east by Rural Section No. 32423, 924·4 links; and again towards the south generally by a public road, a total of 5472·2 links. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 4/433E, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, this 13th day of December, 1946.

Revoking the Vesting of the Control of a Scenic Reserve in the Parr's Park Scenic Board

WHEREAS in pursuance of section thirteen of the Scenery Preservation Act, 1908, the control of the scenic reserve described in the Schedule hereto was vested in the Parr's Park Scenic Board for a term of five years by a Warrant dated the thirty-first day of August, one thousand nine hundred and forty-two, and published in Gazette of the third day of September in that year :
And whereas it is expedient that the said Warrant should be revoked :
