the Schedule hereto) within a distance of thirty-five feet from the
centre-line of the said portions of road.

SCHEDULE

THE north-western side of all those portions of an unnamed road
situated in the Nelson Land District, County of Waimea, fronting
parts Section 13A, Square 5, Block XV, Wangapeka Survey District.

Also the south-eastern side of all that portion of the said road
situated in the said land district and county, fronting parts
Sections 13A and 14, Square 5, Block XV, Wangapeka Survey
District.

As the same are more particularly delineated on the plan
marked P.W.D. 124130, deposited in the office of the Minister of
Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

ORDER IN COUNCIL

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 4th day of
December, 1946

Present:

THE RIGHT HON. P. FRASER PRESIDING IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to section one hundred and twenty-eight of the
Public Works Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General
of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice
and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth
hereby approve of the following resolution passed by the Main
Highways Board on the twentieth day of November, one thousand
nine hundred and forty-six, viz. :

“'The Main Highways Board, being the local authority
having control of the Blenheim–Nelson Main Highway, by
resolution declares that the provisions of section one hundred
and twenty-eight of the Public Works Act, 1928, shall not
apply to the south-western side of the portion of the said
highway fronting parts of 225 acres, District of Suburban
North, originally granted to Francis Jollie (Certificates of
Title 42/294, 62/19, and 62/20, Nelson Land Registry)'';

subject to the condition that no building or part of a building shall
at any time be erected on the land fronting the south-western side
of the portion of the Blenheim–Nelson Main Highway (described
in the Schedule hereto) within a distance of thirty-five feet from
the centre-line of the said portion of road.

SCHEDULE

THE south-western side of all that portion of the Blenheim–Nelson
Main Highway, situated in the Nelson Land District, County of
Waimea, adjoining parts of 225 acres, District of Suburban North,
originally granted to Francis Jollie. As the same is more parti-
cularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 124290, deposited
in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon
coloured red.

THE eastern side generally of all that portion of the Blenheim–
Nelson Main Highway, situated in the Nelson Land District,
County of Waimea, fronting part Section 13, District of Suburban
North. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan
marked P.W.D. 123861, deposited in the office of the Minister of
Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

Appointing a Member of the Soil Conservation and Rivers Control Council

PURSUANT to section three of the Soil Conservation and Rivers
Control Act, 1941, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril
Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand,
do hereby appoint Charles Vere Kirke, of Fairlie, Sheep-farmer,
as representing County Councils of the South Island, to be a
member of the Soil Conservation and Rivers Control Council for a
term commencing on the fourth day of December, one thousand
nine hundred and forty-six, and terminating on the eighth day of
June, one thousand nine hundred and forty-seven.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General,
this 4th day of December, 1946.

Trustees for the Raurimu Public Cemetery appointed

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in
me by section four of the Cemeteries Act, 1908, I, Lieutenant-
General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the
Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby appoint—

Hugh Gunn Dodds,
Lewis Arthur Fowler,
Walter Francis Johnston,
Reginald George Kendall,
Herbert John King, and
George Harry Merry

to be trustees in place of John McLennon, Thomas Henry Crocker,
William Walter Stanton, and Earnest Mather, whose seats have
become vacant by resignation, to provide for the maintenance and
care of the Raurimu Public Cemetery.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General,
this 6th day of December, 1946.
