NOTICE is hereby given that His Excellency the Governor-General has, pursuant to section 54 of the Land Act, 1924, approved of the meetings during the year 1947 of the undermentioned Land Boards being held on the dates specified in the Schedule hereto.

Price Order No. 630 (Amending Price Orders No. 497 and No. 625)
Main Crop Potatoes

PURSUANT to the powers conferred on it by the Control of Prices Emergency Regulations 1939,* the Price Tribunal, acting with the authority of the Minister of Industries and Commerce, doth hereby make the following amending Price Order :—

  1. This Order may be cited as Price Order No. 630 and shall come into force on the 29th day of November, 1946.

  2. Notwithstanding anything to the contrary in Price Order No. 497†, or in Price Order No. 625‡, the Growers’ prices fixed by Price Order No. 497†, as amended by Price Order No. 625‡, shall remain in force until 31st day of December, 1946.

Dated at Wellington, this 29th day of November, 1946.

Price Order No. 631 (Amending Price Order No. 619) Board Products Manufactured by the Whakatane Paper Mills, Ltd.

PURSUANT to the powers conferred on it by the Control of Prices Emergency Regulations 1939,* the Price Tribunal, acting with the authority of the Minister of Industries and Commerce, doth hereby make the following amending Price Order :—

  1. This Order may be cited as Price Order No. 631, and shall be read together with and deemed part of Price Order No. 619† (hereinafter referred to as the principal Order).

  2. This Order shall come into force on the 5th day of December, 1946.

  3. The Schedule to the principal Order is hereby amended as follows :—

(a) By omitting “ 51 17 6 ” from the third column where it appears opposite 1/S White-lined folding screening board, and substituting “ 51 7 6 ”:

(b) By omitting “ 76 7 6 ” from the same column where it appears opposite M.G. Duplex board, and substituting “ 76 17 6 ”.

Notice to Persons affected by Applications for Licenses under Part III of the Industrial Efficiency Act, 1936

Retail Sale and Distribution of Motor-spirit

M. C. Scragg, Patutahi, has applied for a license to resell motor-spirit from one pump to be installed on garage premises at Patutahi and otherwise than through pumps from a depot to be established on the same premises.

L. B. J. Harvey, Opoutere, has applied for a license to resell motor-spirit from one pump to be installed at the motor-camp at Opoutere.

Applicants and other persons considering themselves to be materially affected by the decisions of the Bureau of Industry on these applications should, not later than the 19th day of December, 1946, submit any written evidence and representations they may desire to tender. All communications should be addressed to the Secretary, Bureau of Industry, P.O. Box 3025, Wellington.

Position: Karaka Bay, lat. 41° 18′ S., long. 174° 50′ E (approx.).

Details: The rear leading light in the above position has been discontinued. Notification of the discontinuance of the front leading light was given in Notice No. 22, of 1946.
