SCHEDULE
THE JOHNSONVILLE MILK DELIVERY SCHEME, 1946
(1) For the purposes of this scheme, unless the context otherwise requires,—
“ The district ” means the Johnsonville Town District :
“ Milk ” includes cream :
“ Minister ” means the Minister of Marketing :
“ Zone ” means a zone of the said district as marked on the plan :
“ The plan ” means the plan of the district deposited for purposes of the scheme in the Head Office of the Milk Marketing Division of the Marketing Department at Wellington, under No. M.M.D. 7.
(2) For the purpose of assisting in the administration of this scheme there shall be a committee which shall consist of the following members :—
(a) Two members to be appointed by the Johnsonville Town Board ;
(b) One member to be appointed by the Johnsonville Milk Vendors.
(3) The members to be appointed by the Johnsonville Town Board under clause (2) of this scheme shall be appointed by resolution of the Board as soon as may be after the coming into force of this scheme.
(b) Any committee member appointed by the said Board may in like manner be removed from office.
(4) Any committee member may resign his office by writing addressed to the Minister.
(5) On the death, resignation, or removal from office of any committee member, the vacancy created thereby shall be filled by appointment in the manner in which the vacating member was appointed.
(6) The functions of the committee shall be to receive and investigate complaints affecting the administration of this scheme, to advise the Minister on any matters that may be referred to the committee by the Minister or that may be considered by it of its own motion, and to make recommendations to the Minister for amending the scheme.
(7) Subject to all the provisions of this scheme, the committee may regulate its procedure in such manner as it thinks fit.
(8) The amount of any increase in the gallonage of milk delivered in any zone over the gallonage delivered at the time of the making of this scheme that may be caused by the additional requirements of new householders may be allocated at the discretion of the Minister, and the boundaries of the zones may from time to time be amended to give effect to such allocation.
(9) Deliveries of milk under contract to schools and to establishments of the Armed Forces are excluded from this scheme.
(10) Subject to the foregoing provisions of this scheme, the names and addresses of the vendors who are parties to this scheme, and the areas in which they may deliver milk, are as follows :—

The Lemon Marketing Regulations 1940.—Notice fixing Prices of certain Grades
Office of Minister of Marketing,
Wellington, 29th November, 1946.
PURSUANT to Regulation 5 : 1 of the Lemon Marketing Regulations 1940, I hereby fix the following prices per loose bushel to be paid by the Marketing Department for lemons delivered to the Department during the undermentioned period.
The prices of Preferred Commercial and Commercial Grades are fixed on a basic rate of 4s. 8d. per loose bushel.
Period of delivery (both days inclusive) : 1st December, to 31st December, 1946 :—

Exemption Order under the Motor-drivers Regulations 1940
PURSUANT to the Motor-drivers Regulations 1940,* the Minister of Transport doth hereby order and declare that the provisions of clause (1) of Regulation 7 of the said regulations, so far as they relate to the driving of heavy trade motors, shall not apply to the person hereinafter mentioned, but in lieu thereof the following provision shall apply :—
A motor-driver’s license issued under the Motor-drivers Regulations 1940 to the person described in Column 1 of the Schedule hereunder may authorize him to drive a heavy trade motor in the course of his employment on a farm or market garden of the respective employer described in Column 2 of the said Schedule, but shall not authorize him, while he is under the age of eighteen years, to drive a heavy trade motor for any other purpose.
