Consenting to the Raising of a Loan of £8,000 by the Hauraki Catchment Board and prescribing the Conditions thereof

ORDER IN COUNCIL
At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 26th day of November, 1946
Present:
THE RIGHT HON. W. NASH PRESIDING IN COUNCIL
WHEREAS the Hauraki Catchment Board (hereinafter called the said local authority) proposes, pursuant to the provisions of section thirty of the Soil Conservation and Rivers Control Act, 1941, to borrow the sum of eight thousand pounds (£8,000) by a loan to be known as Administration Loan, 1946 (hereinafter called the said loan), for the purpose of meeting administration expenses:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on him by section eleven of the Local Government Loans Board Act, 1926, as set out in section twenty-nine of the Finance Act, 1932 (No. 2), and of all other powers and authorities enabling him in this behalf, doth hereby consent to the raising by the said local authority of the said loan for the said purpose up to the amount of eight thousand pounds (£8,000), and in giving such consent doth hereby determine as follows:
(1) The term for which the said loan or any part thereof may be raised shall not exceed five (5) years.
(2) The rate of interest that may be paid in respect of the said loan or any part thereof shall be such as shall not produce to the lender a rate exceeding three pounds ten shillings (£3 10s.) per centum per annum.
(3) The said loan or any part thereof shall be repaid by four (4) annual instalments, the first instalment to be not less than two thousand pounds (£2,000) and to be paid not later than the thirty-first day of March, one thousand nine hundred and forty-eight, and the balance to be repaid by three (3) equal annual instalments thereafter.
(4) No moneys shall be borrowed under this consent after the expiration of two years from the date hereof.

Present:
THE RIGHT HON. W. NASH PRESIDING IN COUNCIL
WHEREAS the South Canterbury Catchment Board (hereinafter called the said local authority) proposes, pursuant to the provisions of section thirty of the Soil Conservation and Rivers Control Act, 1941, to borrow the sum of two thousand three hundred pounds (£2,300), by a loan to be known as Plant Depot Loan, 1946 (hereinafter called the said loan), for the purpose of purchasing a plant depot at Temuka:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on him by section eleven of the Local Government Loans Board Act, 1926, as set out in section twenty-nine of the Finance Act, 1932 (No. 2), and of all other powers and authorities enabling him in this behalf, doth hereby consent to the raising by the said local authority of the said loan for the said purpose up to the amount of two thousand three hundred pounds (£2,300), and in giving such consent doth hereby determine as follows:
(1) The term for which the said loan or any part thereof may be raised shall be five (5) years.
(2) The rate of interest that may be paid in respect of the said loan or any part thereof shall be such as shall not produce to the lender a rate exceeding three pounds ten shillings (£3 10s.) per centum per annum.
(3) The said loan or any part thereof, together with interest thereon, shall be repaid by equal aggregate annual instalments extending over the term as determined in (1) above.
(4) No moneys shall be borrowed under this consent after the expiration of two years from the date hereof.

Recreation Reserves in Canterbury Land District brought under Part II of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928

ORDER IN COUNCIL
At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 26th day of November, 1946
Present:
THE RIGHT HON. W. NASH PRESIDING IN COUNCIL
BY virtue of the powers and authorities vested in me by the thirty-fourth section of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, do hereby order and declare that the reserves for recreation in the Canterbury Land District described in the Schedule hereto shall be and the same are hereby brought under the operation of and declared to be subject to the provisions of Part II of the said Act, and such reserves shall hereafter form part of the Fendalton Domain, and be managed, administered, and dealt with as a public domain by the Fendalton Domain Board.
SCHEDULE
CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT
RESERVE 4448, Block X, Christchurch Survey District : Area, 2 roods 2 perches, more or less.
Also Lot 3, D.P. 12633, being part of Rural Section 60, Block X, Christchurch Survey District, and being all the land comprised and described in Certificate of Title, Volume 490, folio 57 (Canterbury Registry): Area, 4 acres 1 rood 37.3 perches, more or less.

Recreation Reserve in the Wellington Land District brought under Part II of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928

BY virtue of the powers and authorities vested in me by the thirty-fourth section of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, do hereby order and declare that the reserve for recreation in the Wellington Land District described in the Schedule hereto shall be and the same is hereby brought under the operation of and declared to be subject to the provisions of Part II of the said Act, and such reserve shall hereafter form part of the Korau Park Domain, and be managed, administered, and dealt with as a public domain by the Korau Park Domain Board.

ALL that area in the Hutt County, containing by admeasurement 1 rood 24.82 perches, being Lots 74 and 75 on D.P. 9185, and being parts of Sections 193 and 195A, Hutt District. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 1/956, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

THE RIGHT HON. W. NASH PRESIDING IN COUNCIL
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by subsection one (b) of section seven of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby revoke the reservation for police purposes over the land described in the Schedule hereto; and doth hereby declare that the said land, being vested in the Crown, is Crown land available for disposal under the Land Act, 1924.
SCHEDULE
HAWKE'S BAY LAND DISTRICT
ALL that area containing by admeasurement 4 acres 2 roods 10 perches, more or less, situated in the Borough of Dannevirke, and being Suburban Section 78, Dannevirke, bounded as follows: Towards the north-east by Suburban Section 25, 616.5 links; towards the east by Claudius Street, 689.8 links; towards the south by Lots 7 and 13, D.P. 4015, and the abutment of Redfern Street, 599.9 links; towards the west by Suburban Section 77, 831.4 links. As the same is more particularly delineated on a plan marked L. and S. 6/7/54, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington and thereon bordered red.
