thirty-four, and published in the Gazette of the thirty-first day of
that month, appointing a Domain Board to control the Whatitiri
Domain, and doth hereby appoint

Arnold Sinclair Cutforth,
Clive Vincent Cutforth,
Bertie Mellor Edge,
Keith Owen Potter,
David Bruce Murdoch, and
James Herbert McKay

to be the Whatitiri Domain Board, having control of the land
described in the Schedule hereto ; and doth hereby appoint Saturday,
the twenty-third day of November, one thousand nine hundred and
forty-six, at eight o'clock p.m., as the time when, and the Whatitiri
School as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.

THE RIGHT HON. W. NASH PRESIDING IN COUNCIL

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section
forty-four of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National
Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the
Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and
consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby
appoint

Hugh Gunn Dodds,
Walter Francis Johnston,
Lewis Arthur Fowler,
Herbert Blackith Hill,
Herbert John King,
George Harry Thomas Merry, and
Reginald George Kendall

to be the Raurimu Domain Board, having control of the land
described in the Schedule hereto ; and doth hereby appoint
Monday, the twenty-seventh day of January, one thousand nine
hundred and forty-seven, at half past seven o'clock p.m. as the
time when, and the County Council Chambers, Raurimu, as the
place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.

Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and
consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby
appoint

Walter Andrew McIntosh Nelson,

to be the Hororata Domain Board, having control of the land

Domain Pavilion as the place where, the first meeting of the Board
shall be held.

ORDER IN COUNCIL

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 20th day of
November, 1946

Present :

THE RIGHT HON. W. NASH PRESIDING IN COUNCIL

WHEREAS by an Order in Council dated the third day of
April, one thousand nine hundred and forty-six, and pub-
lished in the Gazette of the eleventh day of that month, the control
of Lot 437 on D.P. 25861, being part Te Huruhi 5D Block, situated
in Block V, Waiheke Survey District, in the North Auckland Land
District, a reserve for a site for a library, was vested in certain
persons therein named, who were by the said Order in Council
constituted a special Board, by the name of the Waiheke West
Public Hall and Library Board, in pursuance of section seventeen
of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928 :

And whereas it is desirable that Ronald Harry Logan, of Oneroa,
should be appointed a member of the said Board in place of Brian
Duncan, resigned :

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the
Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent
of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in pursuance
and exercise of the powers conferred on him by section seventeen
of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928,
doth hereby appoint the said

Ronald Harry Logan

to be a member of the Waiheke West Public Hall and Library
Board, constituted by the Order in Council dated the third day of
April, one thousand nine hundred and forty-six, hereinbefore
referred to, in place of the said Brian Duncan, resigned.

Valuable Products contained therein

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 20th day of
November, 1946

Present :

THE RIGHT HON. W. NASH PRESIDING IN COUNCIL

IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers and authorities con-
ferred upon me by section three of the Kauri-gum Industry
Amendment Act, 1915, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril
Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand,
acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council
of the said Dominion, do hereby exclude from the area set apart
under the said Act for the purpose of promoting the systematic
recovery of kauri-gum and other valuable products contained
therein, the land described in the Schedule hereto, such land having
been set apart by an Order in Council dated the twelfth day of
March, one thousand nine hundred and forty-one, and gazetted
on the thirteenth day of that month.

Withdrawing Land from the Operation of the Kauri-gum Industry
Act, 1908

ORDER IN COUNCIL

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 20th day of
November, 1946

Present :

THE RIGHT HON. W. NASH PRESIDING IN COUNCIL

WHEREAS by section one hundred and sixty-two of the Land
Act, 1924, it is enacted that the Governor-General may,
by Order in Council, on the recommendation of the Land Board,
declare that any land comprised in a kauri-gum reserve shall, from
a date to be specified in the Order, cease to be subject to the Kauri-
gum Industry Act, 1908, and on and after the date so specified
the land to which the Order relates shall become subject to the
provisions of the Land Act, 1924 :

And whereas the Land Board of the North Auckland Land
District has duly passed a resolution recommending that the portion
of the kauri-gum reserve, as described in the Schedule hereto, be
excepted from the operations of the Kauri-gum Industry Act, 1908,
and it is expedient to give effect to such recommendation :
