Participation in this rate is subject to the conclusion of a special agreement with the Department.
Addington .. Kaikoura .. Petrol, kerosene, fuel oil, lubricating oils, and greases, packed. Owner’s risk 60s. per ton. Minimum quantity (including tonnage railed in the reverse direction), 10 tons per week and 500 tons per annum. Owners to load and unload.
Stations Christchurch, Hornby, Papanui, inclusive Blenheim .. Classes C and D as approved by the Department. Owner’s risk 12s. 6d. per ton. Minimum quantity, 4 tons per consignment. Owners to load and unload.
Stations Christchurch, Hornby, Papanui, inclusive Lake Road, Irwell, Doyleston, Leeston, and Dunsandel Petrol, kerosene, fuel oil, lubricating oils, and greases, packed. Owner’s risk 15s. per ton. Minimum quantity, 4 tons per consignment. Owners to load and unload.

Dunedin .. Anderson’s Bay Goods from stations beyond Dunedin from which local rates to Dunedin apply 36s. per ton dead-weight. Minimum quantity, 1 ton per consignment. Sorting where necessary will be charged for under the provisions of Reg. 96, General Scale of Charges.
Dunedin .. Invercargill .. Goods of Classes C and D ex overseas ships Classified C Rate. This rate does not include delivery at any station.
Invercargill .. Dunedin and stations south thereof Ice-cream conveyed by express or mail trains when accommodation is available in the Guard’s vans of such trains
