- Boats for use at Regattas
By omitting this regulation, and substituting the following:—

Boats for Use at Regattas and Surf Skis for Use at Life-saving Competitions

Rowing, sailing, or motor boats exclusively for use in contests at regattas and rowing boats exclusively for use at inter-University, college, or secondary-school rowing events will on the outward journey be charged Class C. Minimum, 10 cwt. per four-wheeled wagon, 1 ton per bogie wagon.

Surf skis for use at life-saving competitions will on the outward journey be charged Class C if packed, or Class C plus 50% if unpacked.

On being returned from the regatta or life-saving competition the boats or surf skis will be conveyed from the original destination station to the original forwarding station free of charge. All loading and unloading is to be performed by owners, and the boats or surf skis will be carried entirely at owners’ risk.
