Recreation Reserves in North Auckland Land District brought under
Part II of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks
Act, 1928

ORDER IN COUNCIL

At the Government House at Wellington, this 30th day of
October, 1946

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL

BY virtue of the powers and authorities vested in me by the
thirty-fourth section of the Public Reserves, Domains, and
National Parks Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril
Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand,
acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council
of the said Dominion, do hereby order and declare that the reserves
for recreation in the North Auckland Land District described in the
Schedule hereto shall be and the same are hereby brought under the
operation of and declared to be subject to the provisions of Part II
of the said Act, and such reserves shall hereafter be known as the
Whangarei Falls Domain, and be managed, administered, and dealt
with as a public domain.

SCHEDULE

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT

ALL that area in the Whangarei County, situated in Block V,
Whangarei Survey District, containing by admeasurement a total
of 18 acres 2 roods 35 perches, more or less, being portions of
Allotments 48, 49, and 106, Parish of Whangarei, and Lot 1 on
Deeds Register Plan numbered 266, lodged in the office of the
District Land Registrar in Auckland, being part of Pehiaweri Block,
and being all of the lands comprised and described in Certificates of
Title (limited as to parcels), Volume 537, folio 143, Volume 540,
folio 220, and Volume 550, folio 85 (Auckland Registry).

Validating Valuation Roll of Mining Property made by the Lake
County Council

ORDER IN COUNCIL

At the Government House at Wellington, this 30th day of
October, 1946

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL

WHEREAS the County Council of the Lake County failed,
through misadventure, to prepare the valuation list of
mining property in the County of Lake in the month of January,
one thousand nine hundred and forty-six, as required by section
forty-nine of the Rating Act, 1925 :

And whereas the said valuation list and the subsequent steps
required to be taken in connection therewith was prepared and
taken at times other than those prescribed by the said Act :

And whereas it is expedient to validate the said valuation list :

Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the powers con-
ferred on him by section ninety-nine of the Rating Act, 1925, His
Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the consent
of the Executive Council, doth hereby declare that the valuation
list of mining property for the County of Lake made under the
Rating Act, 1925, by the Lake County Council on the fourth day of
September, one thousand nine hundred and forty-six, shall be
valid to all intents and purposes as if it had been made as required
by section forty-nine of the Rating Act, 1925 ; and doth hereby
further declare that the said valuation list shall not be called in
question by reason of any irregularity in the making thereof.

Increasing Number of Days on which Charges may be made for
Admission to the Taumarunui and Rangaroa Domain

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred
upon me by section twenty-three of the Public Reserves,
Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir
Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of
New Zealand, do hereby increase the number of days which may
be prescribed by the Taumarunui and Rangaroa Domain Board as
days upon which charges may be made, pursuant to section twenty-
one of the said Act, for admission to the domain described in the
Schedule hereto, or to any part thereof set apart for a particular
purpose, from twenty days to thirty days during the year ending
the thirty-first day of March, one thousand nine hundred and forty-
seven.

SCHEDULE

AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.—TAUMARUNUI AND RANGAROA DOMAIN

ALL those areas in the Taumarunui Borough and the Taumarunui
County, situated in Block I, Piopiotea Survey District, and
Block XIII, Tuhua Survey District, containing by admeasurement
a total of 179 acres 3 roods 33-6 perches, more or less, being
Sections 3, 16, and 58, Block XIII, Tuhua Survey District ;
Section 1, Block X, Taumarunui Native Township ; Section 11
and part Section 9, Block V, Village of Rangaroa ; and Section 12,
Block VI, Village of Rangaroa.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General,
this 29th day of October, 1946.

Appointment of Medical Supplies Controller

IN exercise of all the powers and authorities conferred by the
Medical Supplies Emergency Regulations 1939, I, Arnold
Henry Nordmeyer, Minister of Health, do hereby revoke the appoint-
ment dated 16th day of October, 1945, of Raymond John Paul as
Medical Supplies Controller,* and do hereby appoint Duncan Cook
to be Medical Supplies Controller for the purposes of the Medical
Supplies Emergency Regulations 1939.
