CORRIGENDUM

Wellington, 15th October, 1946.
A NOTICE appearing in New Zealand Gazette No. 30, dated the 3rd May, 1945, page 457, under the heading “Distinguished Flying Cross, 3rd April, 1945,” is amended so far as it relates to the following officer :—
“Flight Lieutenant Eric Kemp Buchanan is amended to read :—
'Air Force Cross
'3rd April, 1945
'Flight Lieutenant Eric Kemp Buchanan.'”

Road traversing Native Land proclaimed as a Public Road in Blocks X and XI, Ngamatea Survey District, Wellington Land District

A PROCLAMATION
WHEREAS the road described in the Schedule hereto traverses Native land and has been used by the public as a public road :
And whereas the Native Land Court, by an order made on the twenty-seventh day of April, one thousand nine hundred and forty-four, and issued pursuant to section four hundred and eighty-four of the Native Land Act, 1931, ordered and declared the said road to be a public road :
And whereas the said Court is of the opinion that it is in the public interest that the said road should be proclaimed as a public road, and a notification to that effect has been forwarded to the Minister of Lands in terms of section four hundred and eighty-six of the Native Land Act, 1931 :
And whereas it is now expedient that the said road should be proclaimed as a public road :
Now, therefore, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section four hundred and eighty-seven of the Native Land Act, 1931, do hereby proclaim as a public road the road described in the Schedule hereto.

Authorizing Alfred George Greening, of Raurimu, Poultry-farmer, to use Water for the Purpose of generating Electricity and to erect certain Electric Lines

ORDER IN COUNCIL
At the Government House at Wellington, this 16th day of October, 1946
Present :
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby grant to Alfred George Greening, of Raurimu, Poultry-farmer (hereinafter referred to as the licensee), a license subject to the conditions hereinafter set forth to obstruct, impound, or divert the waters of Makaretu Stream, situated in Section 1, Block 9 of Raurimu Extension, Block XII, Kaitieke Survey District, and to take and use therefrom for the purposes hereinafter set forth a stream of water not exceeding 7 cubic feet per second at any one time, and to erect the electric lines hereinafter described.
CONDITIONS
- IMPLIED CONDITIONS
The conditions directed to be implied in all licenses by the Water-power Regulations 1934 and the Electrical Supply Regulations 1935 shall be incorporated in and shall form part of this license, except in so far as the same shall be inconsistent with the provisions hereof.
- LICENSE SUBJECT TO REGULATIONS
This license is issued under the Water-power Regulations 1934, and is subject thereto and to the Electrical Supply Regulations 1935, the Electrical Wiring Regulations 1935, and the Radio Interference Regulations 1934, and to any regulations made or to be made in amplification or amendment thereof or in substitution therefor.
