Meetings of Wellington Land Board

NOTICE is hereby given that His Excellency the Governor-General has approved, in pursuance of section 54 of the Land Act, 1924, of the meetings of the Wellington Land Board, previously fixed for the 27th November, 1946, and 18th December, 1946, being held on 20th November, 1946, and 11th December 1946, respectively.

Declaring Land to be subject to Part I of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1936

PURSUANT to section 4 of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1936, the Board of Native Affairs hereby declares the land described in the Schedule hereto to be subject to Part I of the said Act, and to be included in the Mohaka Development Scheme.

SCHEDULE

ALL that area of land in the Tairawhiti Native Land Court District, containing 98 acres, more or less, situate in Block XIII, Waihua Survey District, and being all the land called or known as Block 10, Mohaka Crown Grant District.

Dated at Wellington, this 10th day of October, 1946.

Releasing Land from the Provisions of Part I of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1936

PURSUANT to subsection (2) of section 4 of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1936, the Board of Native Affairs hereby revokes, so far as it affects the lands described in the Schedule hereto, a certain notice dated the 7th day of July, 1932, and published in Gazette No. 48 of the 14th day of the same month at page 1653, whereby the provisions of section 522 of the Native Land Act, 1931 (now Part I of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1936), were applied to, inter alia, the said lands, and such lands are hereby excluded from the Heretaunga Development Scheme.

Releasing Land from the Provisions of Part I of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1936

PURSUANT to subsection (2) of section 4 of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1936, the Board of Native Affairs hereby revokes, so far as it affects the land described in the Schedule hereto, a certain notice dated the 23rd day of September, 1932, and published in Gazette No. 63 of the 29th day of the same month at page 2072, whereby the provisions of section 522 of the Native Land Act, 1931 (now part I of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1936), were applied to, inter alia, the said land, and such land is hereby excluded from the Oraka Development Scheme.
