Allocating Railway Land to the Purposes of Road in Block XIII,
Turanganui Survey District

A PROCLAMATION

P URSUANT to section two hundred and twenty-six of the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land which is described in the Schedule hereto (and which was taken for the Gisborne-Waikokopu section of the East Coast Main Trunk Railway and is not now required for such purpose) shall, upon the publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette, become road, and that such road shall be maintained by the Main Highways Board in like manner as other public highways are controlled and maintained by the said Board.

9·5 perches.
Being part Railway Reserve.

Situated in Block XIII, Turanganui Survey District (Gisborne R.D.). (S.O. 4331.)

In the Gisborne Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 123692, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured orange.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 14th day of October, 1946.

P URSUANT to section twelve of the Land Act, 1924, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as street the land described in the Schedule hereto.

Land taken for a Public School in Block XII, Porangahau Survey District

A PROCLAMATION

P URSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for a public school and shall vest in the Education Board of the District of Hawke's Bay as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the twenty-first day of October, one thousand nine hundred and forty-six.
