NOTICE is hereby given that, pursuant to the authority conferred on the Bureau of Industry under Part III of the Industrial Efficiency Act, 1936, the following decisions have been made in respect of the applications for licenses.

Notice to Persons affected by Applications for Licenses under Part III of the Industrial Efficiency Act, 1936
Manufacture for Sale of Footwear
H. V. Berry and S. W. Bickerton, 91 Newton Road, Auckland, have applied for a license to manufacture women’s footwear by the cemented and machine-sewn processes.
A. T. Larkin, 532 Karangahape Road, Epsom, Auckland, has applied for a license to manufacture children’s footwear, infants’ sizes 3’s to 6’s and boys’ and girls’ 7’s to 1’s, by the cemented, Blake, and fairstitched processes.
Pharmacy Industry
S. C. Welsford, 363 Cambridge Terrace, Christchurch, has applied for a license to operate a new pharmacy in the approximate vicinity of 700 High Street, Lower Hutt, Wellington.
E. S. Phillips, 153 Newton Road, Auckland, has applied for a license to operate a new pharmacy in Point Chevalier Road, Auckland, between Formby Avenue and Raymond Street, Auckland.
Retail Sale and Distribution of Motor-spirit
J. G. Wright and Son, 198 Cargill Road, Dunedin, have applied for a license to resell motor-spirit from one pump to be installed on garage premises at 198 Cargill Road, Dunedin.
E. E. Paull, Koutu, Rotorua, has applied for a license to resell motor-spirit from two pumps to be installed on proposed service-station premises at Maraetai Hydro-electric Works.
N. McAllister, Orepuki, has applied for a license to resell motor-spirit from one pump to be installed on garage premises at Orepuki.
C. F. Blogg and Co., P.O. Box 171, Gisborne, has applied for permission to transfer the company’s license in respect of one pump from premises at 127 Derby Street to a new site at 308 Gladstone Street, and to install an additional pump on the new site.
Applicants and other persons considering themselves to be materially affected by the decisions of the Bureau of Industry on these applications should, not later than the 17th day of October, 1946, submit any written evidence and representations they may desire to tender. All communications should be addressed to the Secretary, Bureau of Industry, C.P.O. Box 3025, Wellington.
