Declaring Land acquired for a Government Work, and not required for that Purpose, to be Crown Land

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to section thirty-five of the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby declare the land described in the Schedule hereto to be Crown land subject to the Land Act, 1924.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land declared to be Crown land: 14·4 perches.
Being Lot 9, D.P. 1482, being part of Section 8, Town District, situated in the City of Wellington, and being the whole of the land comprised and described in Certificate of Title, Volume 316, folio 173 (Wellington Land Registry).

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 26th day of September, 1946.
