HIS Excellency the Governor-General has been pleased to
confirm the following promotions and relinquishments of
temporary rank of officers on active service with the 2nd New
Zealand Expeditionary Force (Middle East), vide List No. 223,
dated 16th November, 1945 :—

2nd Lieutenant R. B. Stevenson to be Lieutenant. Dated
12th November, 1945.

Major (temp. Lieutenant-Colonel) B. R. Bullot relinquishes
the temporary rank of Lieutenant-Colonel and assumes the acting
rank of Lieutenant-Colonel. Dated 14th November, 1945.
Lieutenant (temp. Major) F. J. Lea relinquishes the temporary
rank of Major and assumes the acting rank of Major. Dated 14th
November, 1945.
2nd Lieutenant (temp. Lieutenant) G. P. Duff relinquishes the
temporary rank of Lieutenant. Dated 16th November, 1945.

CORRIGENDA
GRANTS OF TEMPORARY RANK
The notice published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 76, dated
6th December, 1945 (vide List No. 219), relative to Lieutenant
W. G. Caughey, should appear under the heading "N.Z. Divisional
Cavalry," and not under the heading "N.Z. Armoured Corps."
The notice published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 1, dated
10th January, 1946 (vide List No. 222), relative to Lieutenant C. E.
Brady, is hereby cancelled, and the following substituted :—
"Lieutenant C. D. Brady to be temp. Captain. Dated
12th October, 1945."
