Crown Land set apart for a Public Works Yard and Depot in the Borough of Ohakune

A PROCLAMATION

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart for a Public Works yard and depot; and I do also hereby declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the eleventh day of February, one thousand nine hundred and forty-six.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of Crown land set apart: 2 acres. Being Sections 1, 2, 3, 4, 8, 9, 10, and 11, Block VIII, Town of Ohakune.

Situated in Block VIII, Makotuku Survey District (Borough of Ohakune). (S.O. 15614.)

In the Wellington Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 122865, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 28th day of January, 1946.

Boundaries of Christchurch Drainage District altered

A PROCLAMATION

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by section two of the Christchurch District Drainage Amendment Act, 1920, as extended by the Christchurch District Drainage Amendment Act, 1944, and of all other powers and authorities enabling me in this behalf, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that as on and from the first day of April, one thousand nine hundred and forty-six, the area described in the Schedule hereto shall be added to and form part of the Christchurch Drainage District; and, with the like powers and authorities, do hereby also proclaim and declare that the said area shall be added to the Rural Heathcote Sub-district of the said district.

SCHEDULE

ALL that area in the County of Heathcote, Canterbury Land District, bounded by a line commencing at a point on the northern side of Roscoe Street in line with the eastern boundary of Lot 13 on plan deposited in the Canterbury District Land Registry Office at Christchurch as No. 8624, being a point on the boundary of the City of Christchurch (New Zealand Gazette, 1944, pages 1254 and 1508); thence in a southerly direction by a right line to and along the eastern boundary of the said Lot 13, and the eastern boundary of Lot 9 on plan deposited as aforesaid as No. 8624 to Leonard Street; thence easterly along the northern side of that street and its production to a point on the boundary of the City of Christchurch; thence north-westerly and easterly along that boundary to the point of commencement.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 28th day of January, 1946.

Crown Land set apart for Disposal by Way of Sale or Lease to Discharged Soldiers, under Special Tenures, in the Otago Land District

A PROCLAMATION

IN pursuance of the power and authority conferred upon me by section four of the Discharged Soldiers Settlement Act, 1915, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand; do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto shall be and the same is hereby set apart and declared open for disposal by way of sale or lease to discharged soldiers under special tenures in the manner provided in the said Act.

SCHEDULE

OTAGO LAND DISTRICT.—CROWN LAND

ALL that area containing 4 acres 1 rood 14 perches, more or less, being Sections 16 to 23, 1390R, and parts of Sections 32, 34, and 35, Block XXXIII, Town of Havelock: Bounded towards the south-east by a railway reserve, 1333·6 links, 45·8 links, and 250 links; towards the west by Fulwell Street, 150·5 links and 679·3 links; and towards the north-west by a public street, 264·8 links, 270 links, 212·1 links, and 249·8 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less. As the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 6/7/30A, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

Also all that area containing 1 acre 14·8 perches, more or less, being Sections 1, 2, 3, 36, and 37, Block XXXII, Town of Havelock: Bounded towards the north-east by Fulwell Street, 430 links; towards the south-west by Hylton Street, 430 links; towards the north-west by Sections 35, 38, and 4, 250 links, 10·6 links, and 250 links; be all the aforesaid linkages more or less. As the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 6/7/30A, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
